„ That's why you're the best choice for that task." Godji summarized her monologue and put her hands on her hips, waiting for their response.

Both Off and Gun still stared incredulously at her trying to deceive themselves that she did not say all that. If they were not sitting they would probably be lying on the floor right now.

„ You're kidding?" the tall guy was the first who broke the silence and it was reaally hard not to use the f word to his boss.

„ That's a great chance for our company. As I said before your methods may be different, you can argue whether which is better but you can't deny the fact that each of you makes decent news." she ignored the expressions of her subordinates and explained one more time.

„ That jerk and decent?" Gun thought but bit his tongue not to speak his mind.

„ It may be similar to typical romance case but it's way more important. You need to discover what's the real relationship between this imaginary couple. I don't want any fake news." her gaze stopped at Off and slowly moved to Gun „ I don't want any reckless behavior neither. You should help each other to not cross the lines and do the best job like in the old days."

Well, they did work together before. Two years have passed since Gun released himself from being subordinate to Off when he was doing his internship. He did learn many practical things but from today's perspective, he mainly recalls unpleasant moments...

Since the day he took the first step in this company they didn't get along even though Gun was so excited to meet him... He even prepared homemade cookies as a welcome gift but Off took it as some sort of a bribe and criticized him, saying something about that he can't be bought.

Gun had to endure teasing about his height or young look or even his way of speaking to others while they were working together. Although tried many times to meet his requirements, he heard Off's critical speech daily and often felt dumb and stressed.

Gun was not used to that kind of behavior as he is a total extrovert who has no problems with making people like him, soon he was comforted by other employees like Godji, Tay or Jennie. They didn't mind him being clingy and a little bit childish, he started to feel like he gained a second family but with one black sheep.

At first, he thought that it was the tall guy's character to be cold and malicious but he soon found out that he was the only person in the whole company that he was so mean to. Off would joke around with Tay and Godji or chit-hat with Jennie, behave like a normal human being. Why in his case he was so stubborn?

„ Krist and Singto. The firstborn child of GMMtv's imaginary BL couples. Thousands of fans in Thailand what's more probably worldwide are waiting for the real answer. They are searching, scrolling, and tweeting. We need that share of the market." she quickly clicked through her presentation one more time.

„ The whole imaginary couples concept is quite fresh. Should we touch it?" Off looked not fully convinced.

„ That's why we should." the small guy smirked, he had a hunch that it was a golden idea „ We need to be the first to win the main prize."

„ My son gets me well." she cast a smile and gave them some documents „ Here, present from mommy. Some basic information with their schedules."

„ Any deadline?" Off asked still looking at the notes.

„ Bring me the results when you find one. I trust you my golden gooses. Now I need to get back to work, feel free to start yours. Good luck!" she waved to them and left the room.
