18. Hot Like Tea

18. HOT LIKE TEA

18th of December.

Although there was a big change yesterday Gun somehow slept way better than previous nights and almost didn't wake up when his alarm rang. All morning he felt excited and so happy he couldn't help dancing a bit while preparing breakfast and singing in his car while driving to work. Everything seemed to be better than before. When he entered the building he saw Jennie waiting for the elevator and quickly run to scare her. As always she screamed but then laughed and punched his arm.

" Something good happened?" she caught his cheerful grin.

" Nothing." he smiled broadly and entered the elevator.

Jennie followed him still looking at her phone, she was watching some drama totally concentrated on it. When the doors were just about to close somebody stopped them with hand. Gun's heart skipped a beat when he saw Off entering the elevator saying hello to the present. Jennie was fully focused on her series so she didn't catch those two exchanging obvious smiles.

" Hi, Off." she just responded waving her hand.

The second after entering the elevator the tall guy simply grabbed younger's hand like it was his belong, linking their fingers together. Gun gave him a surprised stare that met a smirk. Although Jennie was standing in front of them and couldn't see a thing, he was still a bit nervous that Off was so bold in their workplace. On the other side, he didn't want that big and warm hand to let go.

" Are you done?" she asked but didn't turn back.

Gun flinched hearing Jennie's question and wanted to broke off the hands but Off's grip tightened not letting him do it.

" Everything is ready" the tall guy's finger was calmly caressing Gun's hand. " You can admire our decorations in free time. Especially the star is worth seeing, it was bought and put on with a lot of consideration." Off's lips rose up in a smirk after Gun pinched his finger, trying to stop him from saying more.

" Fine, I'll check it later. Hope it's pretty,  I was a bit sad that my favs baubles were broken..." she threw a subtle stare on the mirror next to her and smirked finally seeing what was the cause of Gun's sudden silence "...but seems like they were worth it."

She got out of the elevator leaving two men behind. Off snorted trying not to laugh. Gun sighed but then looked at the tall guy's expression and smiled.

" It's too obvious, isn't it?" Off wiggled his eyebrows.

Gun rose their linked hands. " You're doing that and you ask?"

" Don't you like that?

" Guess"

Gun stared straight into Off's eyes just like he was just giving him a challenge. The tall guy instantly grinned seeing him much less shy than yesterday. It was interesting.

" I'm not sure about this one, but..." he bit his lip wandering his sight on small guy's lower part of the face.

" But?"

Off smirked and came closer leaning down, Gun didn't look away, provoking the tall guy to shorten the distance between them. Both could feel a strong attraction, they couldn't and didn't want to fight, pulling them together, making them want each other's presence and touch.

Suddenly the doors opened.

" Ekhm."

Gun quickly moved away blushing, Off brushed his neck nervously. Two giggling women entered the elevator throwing their stares on the guys.
