         Alitheia is the daughter of Apollo and, like most demigods, her divine parent was not allowed to be involved in most of her life. Despite this, Alitheia knew her father loved her, if he didn't love her then he wouldn't have gone out of his way to put her in the best school around. After her mother died when she was 4-years-old, Apollo ensured that Alitheia was taken care of by a good family in Aurodon. The Florian family (Beauty and the Beast) was happy to take the little girl in for the Sun God. They raised her as their own and Ben was like a big brother to her, even though they were the same age.

         When Alitheia was 14, she started dating Raul, the son of Rapunzel, and everyone thought that what the two teenagers had was true love. They had no idea how wrong they were. In public, they looked like the perfect couple; however, Raul was anything but loving towards her when they were alone. He left her with bruises constantly and she was afraid of him, but she knew if told anyone that it would just make her situation worse. He had cheated on her multiple times by the time they were 16, but he denied it any time she asked and punished her for claiming that he had cheated. Ben would most likely kill Raul if he knew about the things he had done to her.

       The day before Audrey decided to steal the Crown and Maleficent's staff was the fateful day that Alitheia would walk away from Raul for good. Alitheia stood in front of Raul as they were surrounded by their classmates and she sang her heart out with anger and torment in her eyes and tears streaming down her cheeks. Everyone was completely shocked by the words she sang.

The crowd of students stood there in shock as Alitheia turned and walked away. She returned to her dorm to be alone. Shortly after reaching sitting on her bed, the door to her room suddenly opened. Mal, Evie, Ben, Jay, and Carlos all rushed into her room closing the door behind them.

"Why didn't you tell me that he was treating you like that Alitheia?!" Ben asked angerly.

"....." Alitheia said nothing and looked away from them.

"Calm down Ben," Mal said while putting a hand on his shoulder.

"How can I calm down?! She has been my sister since we were 4-years-old. But she didn't tell me that her boyfriend was cheating on her AND abusing her?!" Ben yelled.

"How am I supposed to protect you if you don't tell me these things?" He said in a quieter voice.

"You know you can always talk to us about this stuff Ali," Carlos said gently, sitting down on the edge of her bed.

Alitheia answered Carlos in a quiet voice, "If I had told you guys, he probably would've just hurt me more for saying anything." A tear slid down her cheeks as she spoke and Carlos reached out and wiped it away. Ben sat next to her and sighed.

"We would've protected you from him if you had just told us what was going on," He told her calmly.

"How long has this been going on Ali?" Evie asked with a concerned voice. She wanted to know how long their friend had been suffering in silence.

"It started about six months after we started dating. I was still 14 at the time." Alitheia told her with sadness in her voice. "I always figured that it was something that I did, so I tried to be a better girlfriend. But nothing I did ever made a difference."

Jay finally spoke up at this point, having been clenching his fists in anger the whole time. "You didn't do anything to deserve being treated like this. I'm gonna beat the shit out of that guy for doing this to you!" He proclaimed before running out of the room to hunt Raul down.

Ben and Carlos ran out of the room after him in an attempt to either stop him from getting expelled or to help him. The girls weren't sure exactly which one they were doing.

"We won't let him hurt you ever again Ali. I promise," Evie said to her as she pulled her into a hug.

"Evie's right, he won't hurt you anymore. We won't let him close enough to you for that to happen." Mal assured her.

"Thank you. I'm sorry I didn't tell you before now. I was just so scared of being hurt more." 

"Do you want to go with us tomorrow to help pick up the new VKs?" Mal asked her.

"I'd love to, but I promised Jane I would help her set up for her birthday party," Alitheia said as she finally sat up and dried her tears.

Alitheia had no idea that her life would soon change for the better.

I haven't written fanfiction in at least 6 years. This is only chapter one. I hope to have chapter two written and published soon! I hope you enjoy it so far!
