Mal's Confession

"Jane, Doug, and Gil are about to go out looking for Fairy Godmother right now," Mal informed Ali and Harry.

"Gah. Who knows what could happen to them if you only send one person who can fight! I'll go with them to help Gil in case Audrey shows up. I'll be able to do something that she won't be able to dodge with magic....." Alitheia responded.

"Wait...What? What do you mean you'll be able to do something that her magic can't dodge???" Mal and Uma both asked in confusion. Harry raised an eyebrow in interest at this new twist. *What could she do that Mal didn't know about?*

Ali unhooked the charms from her necklace.

*Ah. That's right. She's got that necklace weapon.....thing that she mentioned earlier,* Harry thought to himself.

One charm was that of a bow, while the other was a quiver of arrows (pics of the charms are in "Is She Taken?"). "I'm the daughter of Apollo. You didn't honestly think that I couldn't fight, did you? My father is one of the two Archer gods and his twin sister, my aunt Artemis, is the other one. Shooting arrows with precision is practically in my blood. I can use other weapons too, but I prefer a bow and arrow, plus these are enchanted to be used against magical creatures. I think Audrey classifies as that right now" Ali explained. Then she clicked a small button on each charm and they transformed into a full-sized bow and quiver of arrows. (If you remember, last time Ali mentioned what the charms on her necklace could do was in the forest minutes after Jane shot ben with Enchanted Lake water. Mal and Uma had been in Audrey's dorm room at that time.)

The Mal and Uma gaped at her for a moment before Mal said, "Ok, I was not expecting this new revelation. Alright, so then you go with Jane, Doug, and Gil, but maybe try to not kill Audrey if you see her. I'd like to avoid any deaths if we can."

"You got it," Ali said, swinging the quiver of arrows over her shoulder. She hesitated for a moment. Then she turned towards Harry, kissed his cheek, and ran off to join the others. She did it so fast that Harry didn't even have time to react or even register what just happened.

Mal and Uma looked at each other and smirked before Uma said, "Aww. Looks like you got yourself a girlfriend."

"Just remember that Ben and the other guys will all kill you if you hurt her, and Evie and I will help them," Mal warned as she turned to head back to rejoin the group. Harry and Uma followed.

*At Fairy Cottage*

Mal, Harry, Uma, and the rest of the group that went with them entered Fairy Cottage. Jay immediately ran upstairs to search for Audrey, but he came running back down shortly after.

"She's not upstairs," Jay said.

They heard banging, and Ben opened the door to the small storage closet. "Chad?" Ben asked in surprise when he saw said boy huddled on the ground in the closest.

"I want my mommy," Chad whimpered. "No!" Chad flinched as Ben reached for him to help him up.

"It's okay. What happened, buddy?" Ben asked as he helped Chad up off the ground.

"Hmm," Chad looked around, clearly looking to see if Audrey was there or not. "Ben. Ben! Oh! Your face. She's gone, huh? The door's open. I'm free. Free! Freedom!" Chad ran out the door, yelling excitedly. Harry snickered at the incident.

*Meanwhile*

Ali and her small group found Fairy Godmother, who had been turned to stone. Ali stood guard with her bow and arrow at the ready, just in case Audrey decided to show up.
