The next day, Alitheia woke up and went through her closet to pick out her outfit for Jane's birthday party tomorrow. But Ali wasn't your traditional Auradon girl. Despite being the daughter of the Greek god of the Sun, Alitheia was gothic. She didn't usually do full gothic makeup because she knew that it was a little "intense" for her classmates, but she usually did a little bit of dark eyeshadow with eyeliner and mascara. If she was in a particularly dark mood, she might add a little more dark eyeshadow than normal and possibly even put on a dark shade of lipstick. She had always had a love for the darkness, night, the color black, and some other "dark" or "evil" things. But she had hidden her love of the darker things from the world up until she was 13. At that point, she began slowly dressing in darker clothes starting with something as simple as a black ribbon in her hair. These days, Ali still dressed in pastel clothes but mainly only for formal occasions.
Today, Alitheia had promised Jane to help her get most of the food made for the party tomorrow. But first, they had to meet everyone in front of Auradon Prep to see off Mal and Ben before they left to go pick up the new VKs. Ali knew that today was also the day that King Ben intended to ask Mal to marry him and everyone was so excited about the proposal. Today, Ali had picked out a black and red dress with a black rose lace design over the red and buckles for straps. She put on her dress and her black boots, which have several buckles in the front and have red with black floral lace on the sides and black ribbons, and sat down in front of her mirror to do her makeup. Her makeup for today consisted of dark red/burgundy eyeshadow with thick black eyeliner and dark burgundy lipstick.

After Alitheia was done with her makeup, she cleaned up and put away her mess, fixed her hair, and double-checked herself in the mirror. Now that she was satisfied with her outfit and makeup, she walked out of her room and left to meet up with Evie, Carlos, Jay, Doug, and Jane.
Jay was the first to spot her as she headed towards her group of friends, and he let out a wolf-whistle when he saw her.
"Damn, Ali. Why didn't you warn us that you were gonna dress so hot?" Jay said as he looked her up and down. Evie, Jane, and Ali all rolled their eyes at Jay.
"You look beautiful, Ali," Carlos said, smiling at her.
"You look stunning," Evie grinned at her and hugged her. "That jerk of an ex is gonna wish he had treated you better when he sees you!" Ali cringed at Evie's proclamation.
"I'd much rather if he didn't see me at all, honestly. I don't want to have to deal with anything relating to him today."
"That's fair considering the circumstances," Jane said. "Besides, if you're going to be helping me make food for the party tomorrow, we can't have you all being all depressed, now can we?"
Ali laughed at Jane's comment and said, "That's true. I'm not much help when I'm all depressed."
"Here they come," Doug pipped up, having been silent this entire time.
They all turned and watched as Mal and Ben walked onto the stage in the middle of the pathway. Fairy Godmother stopped Mal from walking off the stage, and Ben started singing to Mal while the band played."
Time skip to after Mal and Ben are on the Isle to pick up the new VKs. (I'm sorry but I didn't feel like going through the entire proposal song and everything.)
Jane and Ali were in Evie's kitchen preparing food for Jane's birthday party tomorrow. They had the TV on so that they could see what was going on over on the Isle with the Core 4, Ben, and the new VKs. All of a sudden they could hear ruckus on the TV, and when they looked up at it, they could see that Hades was trying to get through the barrier.
"What the hell does he think he's doing?! He doesn't honestly think he can get out, does he?!" Ali yelled as Jane just stared in horror. As they continued watching, they saw all of their friends get hit by Hades' ember and Mal, in her dragon form, getting hit by a constant wave of energy from the ember.
