It took Shyla three years to get over what had happened to her, after getting out of the medical ward, shyla became rather emotionless due to what had happened with her father. She refused to show any type of emotion towards her mother, it was usually a cold shoulder due to what she had done to her father. Stewart and Marisol had no idea what had happened other than the fact that he had died.

They didn't know that their own mother killed their father, they didn't know that it happened right before shyla's eyes. They didn't know the horrors that went through Shyla's small child mind throughout the time that she had been trying to get herself medicated enough to be 'okay' in the eyes of society. By the age of fifteen things were 'normal' again for Shyla other than the fact that her mother had introduced her siblings to a male who'd be living with them for a while as a favor for a friend of hers.

The male's name was Katsuki Bakugo, he didn't talk much to Marisol or to Shyla-the person he spoke the most to was Stewart which was more than fine to Shyla. It wasn't until she had found out that Katsuki was the same age as her-just older by a few months. She hated it that her mother would celebrate his birthday but when it came to her birthday it was only celebrated for Stewart never her.

After two years Katsuki had the guts to go up to Shyla as she was reading and talk to her. "Hey...can we talk?"

She placed her book down and raised an eyebrow at him. "What about?"

"You live here yet Shira never celebrates your birthday. Why is that?"

"She hates me, since she's the reason I don't have a father anymore." Shyla said stoic like as she placed her book down beside her. "Why do you care?"

"I found it odd that's all. Why would she hate you, you're her daughter?" Katsuki asked

"It started when she would favorite Marisol and Stewart over me, my father then played the favorite game with me. I knew what I had to just to take over his job when I get older-my mother disliked that my fathers will has just my name on it for some odd reason. Many times they would fight and argue about him changing it but he never did and their last argument woke me up." Shyla stated before she placed her legs under her

She was quiet for a bit before she sighed out. "I witnessed my mother murdering my father over my fathers will. My father...he died in my arms Katsuki. That's probably why she doesn't celebrate my birthday...even though it's the same as Stewart's we're twins after all."

Katsuki's eyes widen. "Seriously? What the fuck is wrong with your mother?"

"I don't even know but since my father's money is inaccessible for some reason my mother has been forced to work jobs just to keep food on the table and such." Shyla said with a shrug of her shoulders

"I'll see what I can do about changing that. If it doesn't then I have options for you Shyla." He said as he moved closer to her.

"Stay away from me, I don't want anyone to get near me. Just go back to talking with Stewart you seem to be keen on being around him so just stay that way alright?"

With that Shyla walked off with her book after getting off of the couch. He didn't know what shyla's issue was but when it came up for Stewart to be asked about what he wanted for his birthday Katsuki was good on his word to Shyla.

"Shira, you realize that you've been forgetting Shyla this entire time. She is your daughter after all."

Shyla continued to eat her dinner without a word as her mother glared at her. "You placed him up to this didn't you!?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about. I have no idea what intentions someone who only talks to Stewart would want me to ever celebrate my birthday Shira. But like it matters it's probably the same thing repeated, I don't know why you always ask him when he doesn't ever do anything differently."

With that Shyla got her empty plate and took it to the kitchen. Not wanting to deal with her mother or anyone else anymore.
