Afterwards he placed one of his shirts on her and waited for her to wake up, they had to talk and he knew he had to explain himself to her. Which while he waited he took a shower, as he got out and went into the master bedroom he saw that Shyla was sitting up confused on the bed as she looked around.

"Good you're awake, tell me why did you wear such a tight dress if you couldn't breath in it?"

Shyla's attention went straight to him before she averted her head down to the blanket that was over her lower half. "Cause my mother forced it upon me to wear it. She didn't care that it was too tight on me or that I could barely breath in it. I...I've been taught at home that speaking out when not spoken to gets you abused in many forms. So I couldn't say anything about the restrictions that dress had made on me."

Todoroki listened carefully to what she said before he went up to her making her stare him straight in the eyes. "You don't just live with your mother do you?"

"No sir."

"Who else lived with you?"

"My elder twin brother and younger sister, and a over staying guest by the name of Katsuki Bakugo"

"Have they ever laid a hand on you?"

"Mhm, yes all three of them have, for different reasons and mother allowed it."

Todoroki didn't want to assume but he had to ask. "You were raped weren't you?"

The sad look in her eyes as she averted them told him everything he needed to know about the life she had before she became his. He gave her a small peck on the cheek before he walked to his large walk-in closet.

"I ask you so much because as of now you are to live here with me, granted being my girlfriend means that one day I will either kill you if you misbehave too much or if you are really good and warm up to me, I'll marry. But women usually don't tend to take a liking to men who use violence as a life style, so I've seen. What is your view on it Shyla?" Shoto explained as he got himself dried off and wearing just a pair of boxers

"My opinion? If it's for a good reason-say self protection or protection of someone you care and love then I can see it being okay. But to kill for blood lust or for revenge instead of moving on and getting better...I see no reason behind it." Shyla said shaking her head slightly

"Hm, you had a legit answer. You're smarter than women who've been given the title of my girlfriend before you. You might actually pull off being something at this rate." Todoroki stated amused

He then sat on the bed beside her before he looked her dead in the eyes. "Due to the fact that you're my girlfriend, you're going to have to take care of the maids and butlers that are here while I'm going working. Which that too I should explain, the mafia I am the boss to isn't like the ones you see on TV if you've ever watched anything like it."

She shook her head in response which made him smile a bit, knowing that she was pretty ignorant to what he did for a living.

"Basically, I kill those who in danger the peace and prosperity of the people in this city. Those who help me out do it for the same cause and are like a friend to me. Though I wouldn't trust them fully since in the past some of them have tried to take the woman who I was with away from me. Saying she was either too good or not enough for me. Which they were obviously right since you're here with me."

"Uh...May I ask what happened to the girls who were here with you?"

"Sure, The first girl was wed to one of my companions. I wasn't so keen on it but I let it be since she behaved better for him than around me. The second girl...well she killed herself. She drove herself mad and took my gun from me to pull the trigger on herself."

"So...I'm the third girl you've been around then?"

"Yeah, and I hope you're better than both of them.
