The Life of Rose Hargreeves (ON HOLD)

Episode 5

Pain.

That's what Rose felt when she started to regain consciousness.

Rose bit back a scream as she slowly opened her eyes. She tried to sit up but she fell back down in the process. She tried to sit up again, but slower this time and she was actually able to sit up. Rose looked over at her right arm to see and IV in it and she yanked it out of her arm.

Rose went upstairs to her room to change into better clothes seeing that what she's still wearing has blood on it.

Rose had run into Diego on her way out to try and find Five.

Diego instantly went towards her and gave her a tight hug, afraid to let go thinking that if he did she'd disappear.

"Diego. Need. Air."

Diego let go of her and had a look of relief on his face with a sheepish smile. "I'm just glad you're okay."

Rose smiled and went on her way to find Five.

"Oh, and Rose, thank you for saving Eudora," Diego thanked.

"It was no problem. I couldn't watch her get shot and die. I know how important she is to you," Rose smiles.

Diego has dragged Rose along with him since he was stuck hanging out with Klaus.

They were driving on the highway in an ice cream truck, with Klaus driving, and as they pass by they see Luther and Five staring at them.

Klaus waves out the window at them while Rose looks slightly scared for her life, then she starts to glare at Five, wondering what the hell he was doing. Then there's Luther and Five who looked extremely confused as to why their brothers and sister are in an ice cream truck.

"Go faster!" Diego shouts.

"Wheee!" Ben cheers on Klaus' lap as Klaus slowly speeds the ice cream truck up.

"It's a set up!" Rose faintly bears Cha Cha yell as her and Hazel start shooting the three, living, siblings in the ice cream truck.

Hazel and Cha Cha get hit by the ice cream truck and Rose starts to laugh seeing them both fly in the air. Then time stops.

Rose looks around and sees that everyone, expect her and Five, had frozen.

"Five what the hell is going on?" Rose yells as she climbs out of the truck.

Five never got to reply when they noticed a certain someone they've been waiting for to show up.

"Neat trick isn't it?" The Handler asks.

Rose walks up next to Five and slightly steps in front of him just in case she needs to take any hits for him. It doesn't matter if she's hurt or not, she refuses to have any more of her family members get hurt, or worse, killed.

The Handler took her glasses off so Rose and Five could see her eyes. "Hello Rose, Five."

"You guys look good, all things considered," The Handler says.

"It's good to see you again," Five said.

"Feels like we met just yesterday. Course, you two were a little bit older then. Congratulations, on the age regression, by the way. Very clever. Threw us all off the scent," The Handler compliments.

"Ah, well, I wish I could take credit. I- we miscalculated the time dilation projections and, well, you know. Here we are." Five widens his arms as to show the affect the time jumping had on him and Rose.

"You two realize that your efforts are futile. So why don't the two of you tell me what you really want?" The Handler asks.

"We want you to put a stop to it," Rose speaks up.
