When You First Meet Him

(Note: They didn't state in the series what name of the Elementary school that Tamaki and Mirio went to but it was mentioned that they're in third grade during the flashback sequence of Tamaki's early childhood. So in other words, this scenario will be taken place when they are in third grade and when Tamaki was a new transfer student just like in Episode 8 of Season 4. "Are you all set, dear?"

"Yes, mom!"

The sun has risen and the clock has struck at exactly seven in the morning.

Today is my first day once again in my old elementary school and I'm hoping that it's going to be a great day to meet some new friends!

I've been living here in the Chiba prefecture for two years now and I'm getting quite used to the surroundings around me.

I remember moving here when I was so little and I was really nervous because of the people that I'm going to meet.

But turns out my expectations turned out for the better when our next-door neighbors are really nice to converse with in early mornings.

"Be careful on the way, okay? And don't tire yourself out when you use that quirk so much", my dad said and kissed the top of my head.

"He's right, sweetheart", my mom said sweetly and gently fixed my hair before walking to the door, "I know you want to practice using it if you want to be in U.A and become a pro hero like me someday but...".

Oh and I forgot to mention that my mom is a pro hero called Camogirl : The Unrevealing Kunoichi while her sidekick is my dad, Mothman : The Gust Flyer.

I overheard from one of the pro heroes that their love story was really cute but I guess I'll ask them when I have a chance next time.

But that aside, these two are unstoppable and had a great record of rescuing of civilians when there is a certain disaster or a villain attack.

She gave me a kiss on the forehead as well and smiled gently at me.

"But take it step by step, okay? Your dad and I are here to support you for your future", she said and hugged me tight, "I love you, (Y/N)".

I nodded rapidly and hugged her in return before my dad will hug us both in his strong arms.

"I love you too! Bye-bye!"

"Mornin' (Y/N)-chan!!"

I finally arrived at the same old elementary school and I saw my first female friend that I befriended when I was in first grade, waving at me from the school gates.

"Oh, Saki!", I called him out and grew out my wings - in other words, I activated my quirk - before flew towards her before I gave her a high five.

"Woah! You flew quite fast, (Y/N)-chan!", Saki said and laughed, "It's great to be in the same class again and-EH?! Did you cut your hair?!".

I nodded happily and touched fresh cut hair - which is a normal short hair cut for a child.

"Yep! What do you think, Saki?", I said and giggled.

She frowned and whined, "But your old hair is better~! Oh well, you look good anyway, hahaha!".

Both of us laughed at the same time before we both went inside the school building together to find our third grade classroom.

...

"Here we are!"

We finally found our classroom and the room is bustling because of our classmates which I still recognized from last year.

Well, not all are the same faces I see but there was one indigo haired boy that caught my eye sitting at the middle row of the classroom, who is looking at the great blue sky and he looked quite shy too.

'Is he new here?', I thought but they were interrupted when a teacher finally arrived inside our classroom, who happens to the same homeroom teacher from last year.

"Good morning, class!", our homeroom teacher greeted us with a warm smile.

"Good morning, sensei!", we all greeted at the same time and walked towards the teacher's desk while all of us went to our seats, although...

It looks like Saki and I are not going to be seatmates - which is what we planned a few seconds ago - since most of the seats are almost gone and we're both left with a seat at the second row and the middle row which happens to be next to the indigo haired boy that I noticed from earlier.

"Looks like we are separated, (Y/N)-chan. Bummer, haha", Saki said and waved at me, "I'll take the second row seat then! Let's chat later during lunch!".

I nodded and decided to take a seat next to the indigo haired boy at the middle row.

I finally sat down and the moment I sat down and decided to face the boy to greet him, he was also facing me as well which made both of us gasp.

"O-O-Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!", the indigo haired boy said and bowed.

I smiled and shook my head before replying, "It's totally fine, haha. You looked like you wanted to say hi so I don't mind".

"R-R-Really?", the boy questioned me and sighed in relief, "I-I'm relieved and you're right, I-I just wanted to try to greet my new s-seatmate so I can h-h-have a-a...new friend".

The tone of his voice and the way he spoke to me was so soft that it made me adore him.

"Aww, that's sweet!", I said and giggled before showing him my hand, "In fact, I actually want to be your friend!".

His eyes widened and he replied, "R-Really? Me? T-That was fast but I-I'm glad!".

He looked down and twiddled his thumbs shyly but his lips were curling into a small smile before he slowly got the courage to accept my handshake.

"My name is (Y/N)(L/N)", I said and smiled brightly at him, "I'm an old student here and I'm happy to show you around!".

His eyes were filled with amazement after hearing my heart warming greeting and he couldn't seem to utter a word because of how amazing it is to him.

He nodded and gently shook my hand while looking at me with a hint of shyness.

"M-My name is Amajiki Tamaki", he introduced himself and bowed, "A-And thank you for y-your kindness, (Y/N)!".
