Winter.
The colors red, white and green that made any room or place jolly.
People giving and receiving gifts that they've always wanted.
Singing hymns that will bring joy to others.
These things are mostly done in everyone's favorite and wonderful time every year - Christmas.
My parents and I have been decorating the house since yesterday and after all the efforts, we finally managed to make it festive and alive.
"(Y/N)! Can you pass me that wreath over there?", my mom called out to me and pointed at the green decor at the other side of the room.
I nodded and quickly got the cute Christmas wreath from a random table before giving to my mom.
"Thank you so much, dear", my mom said and kissed the top of my head, "Sigh, I wonder if your dad is okay. He's been out for a while just to get some Christmas pizza for us".
"Don't know, haha. But I think he'll be fine, I mean he's Mothman", I said and stretched my arms, "Then again, I wonder if he can still fly longer during winter".
My mom only smiled and got down from the ladder.
"Well, you're right. Sorry, I'm just feeling a bit worried", my mom said and laughed, "Because your dad gets reckless sometimes but I do love the effort that he puts into things".
"Is that one of the reasons you love him, mom?", I asked and giggled.
My mom slightly blushed and nodded before fixing her hair.
"Yeah, you're actually right about that, haha", my mom said and patted my head, "Oh speaking of love, do you have a plan with Tamaki this Christmas~?".
A plan?
Now that I think about it, we did talk about what to do for Christmas a few days ago during class-
*insert favorite ringtone here*
My thoughts stopped there when my phone started to ring so I took it out from my pocket and it turned out to be Amajiki himself.
"I'll be back, mom", I said and kissed her cheek, "He's calling me".
"Oh~! Okay, okay. If you guys are going to have a Christmas date, have fun!", my mom said and patted my back before returning the kitchen to cook for our Christmas dinner.
I went back to my phone and pressed the green answer call button before I hover it close to my ear.
"Hello, Tamaki~!", I greeted and smiled.
"O-Oh, (Y/N)! Happy holidays!", Amajiki said and chuckled shyly.
"Happy holidays to you too! How are you?", I asked and fixed my Christmas sweater, "My mom and I just finished decorating the house".
