I often feel the common plight
As I remember eyes like a starry nightThe heart may stop and often linger
From the slightest graze of a fingerFor love knoweth not the bounds of mind
One often hears of a love that's blindBut even though my mind is sound
The extent of love knows no boundIt knoweth not the rules of life
Only of that which feels natural and rightSo although I sit here in the rain
I have no choice but to relive my painMemories flash of days that passed
Moments I hoped would forever lastBut as I lie here in the night
I now know my mind was right
