Your POV It was lunch and me and my team were sitting at a table, we had chosen a isolated table because we didn't like the stares we got from people. I noticed the down expression on my team's faces so I try and lighten the mood.
"Also Leute, ich habe das Gefühl, dass wir wirklich einen Eindruck hinterlassen haben! (So guys, I feel like we really made an impression!)"I say enthusiastically. Manfred chuckles. I get a smile from Mengele (something which was pretty rare in and of itself) and a laugh from Erwin
"das haben wir getan (That we did)" Erwin says digging into his lunch. Suddenly something captures Mengele's attention.
I turn around to see two groups of people. A girl who has spartan armor on addresses us.
"Sorry to bother you, but is this seat taken?"she says pointing to the bench beside us. I only half understood her, but what is that supposed to mean? I didn't own this table.
"If you mean; "can we sit here?" then the answer is yes" Erwin says happily. But as the group sits down awkward silence envelopes the table.
"So what part of the military were you?" A short girl with a red cape asks, I had no idea what a 'military' was but apparently, judging by his reaction, Erwin did.
"We weren't part of any specific military classification, we were part of a wild-card class know as a Wardens" he explains. The orange haired girl that had addressed Mengele becomes ecstatic.
"Do you have any war stories!?" She asks, at this, Erwin also becomes enthusiastic.
"Indeed! Y/n you want to tell them?" He asks slyly, in the sorta "You don't get a choice" tone. I roll my eyes knowing I wasn't gonna talk my way out of this.
"Well..."
