Y/n sighs... the interview was finally over, they had one more class till' the day was over...
Time skip
Y/n has never felt so bored in his life, he sits looking at the seemingly egotistical professor with apathetic eyes, meanwhile his team scrambles to write down everything he says, thinking that his anecdotes were note-worthy.
Team RWBY wasn't doing much better, only Weiss was paying attention.
Y/n's POV
Suddenly my phone vibrates.
Unknown caller...
"Hallo?(hello?)"I whisper
"Hallo ist das y/p... Nein, y/a... Y/n! Das ist es! Y/n...(hello is This y/p?...no y/a... Y/n! That's it Y/n...)" it says, the voice seemed familiar...
"Ja...wer ist das? (Yes, who is this?)" I ask cautiously.
"Kriegspapa (Wardaddy)" he says, suddenly it clicked.
"schaust du nach Erwin? (Are you looking for Erwin?)" I ask.
"Ja(yes)"
"Warum?(why?)" I ask.
"Die Aktivität in Grimm nimmt zu, und ich kann keinen GI hierher bringen, ohne Reserven oder eine Unterstützungsdivision zu nehmen. Ich benötige ein Stipendium von 5 Panzerzug oder meine Linie wird zusammenbrechen. (Grimm activity increase, and I can't get GI over here without taking from reserves or a support division, I need a grant of 5 tank platoons or my line is going to collapse)" he says strained, I realize something: he wasn't in a command room. (GI stands for general infantry)
I hear a grimm roar
"Wo bist du?(where are you?)" I ask scared for him. He sighs.
"Das Maginot line(the maginot line)" he says I pale.

The maginot line is a line that protects world peace. It is a ongoing Defensive that the Germans have made to keep the Grimm from: 1 getting to the rest Of the world 2. Stop the concentration of Grimm from ganging up on atlas

The d represents Deutschland and the yellow arrows are where the Grimm come from, if it wasn't for the bravery of young soldiers, remnant would be overrun with Grimm, statistically the maginot line has the highest death rate of any place on remnant due to the constant non-stop fighting.
The line has been up for about 100 years with some people growing up on the line. It is (debatably) the most brutal place on remnant. Where men eat magoty rice on a good day.
