I open my eyes and see nothing but Sophia, god damn it Christopher. I sit up and gag, fuck, I run to the bathroom and drop to my knees letting everything out. I get up and go back into my room.
Elijah had an Emergency and took the gang to Atlanta and left shit head behind to take me home, I get out of my bed and grab my phone seeing a note.

Today is the day that told me I missed my period which means I take the test, I dart to the bathroom yanking my tests that I bought yesterday out. I drop my pants and sit on the toilet peeing on 2 different sticks.
I finish my business and wait 5 minutes for the results.
Once the 5 minutes pass I bite the inside of my cheek picking up and seeing both are positive "YEEESSSSS" I jump up and down and pull my phone out taking a picture of the sticks and sending it to elijah.
I walk out of my room and downstairs where I find duke laying on the dining room floor "Hey duke" I say entering the kitchen getting a dog treat and my phone rings as I walk to duke, I answer "MAMAS" He screams and I put him on speaker, I grin kneeling next to duke "I am so excited I might just cry" I say and I could practically hear his smile.
"Lets not do that" He says and I pet duke who wouldn't move "I am going to try and finish this mission fast so I ca-" "NO" I gasp dropping the phone "What, Mamas" he says and I grab dukes almost lifeless face. "No no no no no" I say "MAMA'S" He yells and I grab the phone.
"Ill call you back Ive got to get duke to a vet" I say and he yells "NO, Mama's he's old, It was either soon or later" He starts explaining "Well if you expect me to watch him die you've got me messed up" I say and he sighs "Let me talk to Christopher" He says "He isn't here" I say "Who isn't here" He says and my soul almost left my body.
"here" I give him my phone and he starts talking and then kneels next to me looking at duke "Hes gone" He says and hands me the phone and I stand holding my hand over my mouth holding back a cry as Christopher picks him up and starts carrying him outside.
I walk up the stairs and back into my room "Mama's are you okay" He questions and I hold the phone to my ear. "No" I let out as a few tears come down my face "I'm going to come home as soon as possible" he says and I nod "I love you mama's Ive got to go" He says "I love you to" I say hanging up.
Poor duke, He was supposed to be my child's guard. He would have been a great one too. I sigh and start grabbing clothes, I throw my pajamas off then slide into some ripped jeans then some socks and timberlands, I realize I have no shirt with me, Eh I wont take the jacket off anyway, I slide Elijah's polo hoodie over my head. I brush my teeth and then spray perfume.
