Chapter 12

Beth's POV
Oh gosh I have to get ready!!

" Roxy I'm going to the beach with Connor," I said handing her house phone back.

" oh la la when?" She started
moving her shoulders.

"At three.." I held up 3 fingers at her.

" Okay I'll just drop you off at your house. K?" She offered. I nodded.

" well let's get going." She continued.

She grabbed her car key from her drawer. We then exited the house and hopped in her car. It took about 15 minutes to get to my house. We turned on the radio and sang our hearts out.

" IF YOU GAVE ME A CHANCE IM GOING TO TAKE IT ITS A SHOT I THE DARK.... Blah blah." We didn't know the lyrics to the song. Yikes.😁😁

We arrived at my house. I said goodbye to Roxy. I started walking to the entrance of my house. I opened the door and went in.
I walked up the stairs. I head to my bedroom and went into my closet.
What to wear? Mmmhh.

I picked a hot pink bikini👙. Over it I chose a sheer white crop flowy top. For bottoms I wore basic light wasted shorts. My shoes are just flip flops.

My make up is basic just waterproof mascara with a tinted lip balm.👌
It's almost 3:00 so I decided to put things in my purse.

I got a text from Connor.
C: hey beautiful I'm here.
B: kk be down in a minute.
I gather everything and went downstairs to meet Connor. He unlock the passenger door.

"Hey Connor!" I squeal.

" Woah someone is excited." He drove off.

" what I can't be excited to go to the beach with my best friend?" I questioned him.

He turned his head towards me with a smile on his face. He looked at my lips. I had a confused look but he didn't notice because he was too FOCUS ON MY LIPS!!
"Connor?" I said to make him stop.
"Connor?"
"Connor."
"Connor!"
Then finally the car behind us honked at us and Connor snapped out of it and drove.

" Dude what's wrong with you today?" I asked.

" Um I have a lot of things in my mind lately." He said with a serious face.

" Like what," I raised my eyebrows.
He stayed quiet.

" oh... Well.. You know.. School stuff." He lied. He was lying. He's a terrible liar. I didn't bother asking him more questions because obviously he doesn't want me to know the reason.

" okay?" I was uncertain. What
could he be hiding from me.

" okay." He smiled.

" It's not Fault In Our Stars Connor." I smacked his arm playfully. He laughed and rubbed his arm.

" Can we turn on the radio?" I whined.

" Diva over here," he turned on the radio.

The radio played One More Night by Maroon 5.

" AHH I remember this song," I said in excitement.

"🎶🎶But baby there you go again there you go again making me love you"🎧🎶

Connor and I know the song word per word. I giggled because I didn't know he liked Maroon 5.

" I don't know whatever🎧" Connor
said the last part of the song.

I giggled.

We finally arrived at the beach. It took forever to find a parking spot, but we finally found one.
I opened the door and got out of the car.

" Finally we found a parking space," I stretched my body after I got out of the car.

" Let's go find a spot to settle down," he grabbed a bug full of beach stuff in the back of the car.

We went closer to the ocean. The sand was hot as hell. The sun was beaming upon us. I started to sweat.

We chose a place to settle down in. Connor put down a blanket so we can lay on. Then we took out a big umbrella, so we could have shade. He sett up the umbrella and now we have shade.

" Thanks Connor," I lay down on the blanket.

" Your welcome," he laid down with me.

" Now just enjoy the breeze," he continue.

I took out my phone to listen to my music. I had my headphones on so I couldn't hear anything. I wanted to hear Sam Smith.
I played I'm Not The Only One.

I started to fall asleep.

Connor's POV

I noticed Beth was falling asleep. She looks so adorable I just want to kiss her. I moved closer to her, so I could keep her warm with my body heat.

I put my arm around her and moved her closer to me. She put he head on my chest. Her right leg was on top of my right leg. We were cuddling in the beach. I smiled to myself knowing I had the most beautiful girl in the world in my arms. I kissed the top of her head and fell asleep with Beth in my arms.

Connor's POV
I woke up and Beth was awake. She was still in my arms but she was playing on her phone.

" Oh well your awake," I rubbed my left eye.

She giggled "you have bed head," she pointed out.

" But don't worry is still looks cool," she added giving me a thumbs up. I smiled at her.

" Hey which picture do you like," she showed me her phone. It was me sleeping. It was a double chin central.

" Do you like the 5 Double chin or," she scrolled to the next picture, " the 10 Doubled chin."

"Give me that phone," I tickled her.

" Never...," she was laughing a lot. She eventually stood up to avoid me tickling her.

" Beth please delete the pictures," I stood up.

She shook her head.

" okay I'll have to get it," I ran towards her, but Damn she could ran fast.

I finally caught up to her and I grabbed her from behind and lifted her in the air. I set her down and she turn forward me. We were really close together. I wanted to kiss her so bad.
" So... Um.. Can you delete those embarrassing pictures of me?" I scratch the back of my neck.

" Okay," she took out her phone and deleted them.

" Happy," she looks at me in the eye.

I hugged her for a very long time m. She hugged me back. I love these kind of moment with Beth. It's like we're dating. The only thing that stopping me from getting her is...

" Beth," male voice said.

What is up guys✌️😎 sorry I didn't upload early. The chapter got deleted so I had TO REDO the whole frickin thing. But that a right. No prob. Guys I didn't go to school 2day. 😜😜 Yay!!! So happy.
