A/N: Hi guys this is my first book so sorry if it isn't any good. Requests for one-shots are always open. :))
Shawn and Camila are the same age in this one-shot.

Shawn Mendes walked up to his Toronto apartment, wanting nothing more than to just be with his small little family watching Disney movies on the couch. It's been 3 months since he last saw his girlfriend of 4 years and his 2 year old son. Yeah they FaceTimed but it wasn't the same as being there in person with them.

He has been in this depressed state ever since he saw Camila and Milo 3 months ago. Nothing could get him out of this state. It would so hard to just smile and continue in with his tour when he wasn't where he wanted to be the most. But the worst part about this whole situation, was that he couldn't talk to anybody about it. Hell no one even knew that Camila and Shawn were together, let alone have a kid together. They were always going eventually announce that they were together but life got in the way. And soon enough Camila was pregnant having his kid.

Only their close friends and family knew about them being together and knew about Milo. But even then Shawn couldn't brag about how cute and smart his little man is for only being 2 years old. He couldn't talk about their most favorite memories together with his family to his fans. Camila and Shawn were scared of how their fans would react so instead they kept it a secret. He couldn't talk about his little family to his tour crew even though they knew about Shawn and Camila. He didn't want to bore them with stories about his family. So instead he kept to himself and counted down the days until he saw the lives of his life's again. His whole entire past lead him to where he was now being a huge world wide pop star at such a young age. Honestly he loves touring and seeing all of his fans faces light up when ever he was on stage. But what he loved even more was having some nice alone time with his beautiful family.

So now here he was standing outside of his apartment door reminiscing about his wonderful life he had so far, while his family was on the outside waiting for him to come home like an idiot.
He pushed his key into the lock and twisted it. Expecting his little boy to come and crash into his legs now that he was home. But instead he was met with silence.
"Milo... Camila " Shawn called out into the dark apartment.
Not even 10 seconds later he heard the sound of tiny feet hitting the floor.
"Daddy!!?" Milo jumped towards his dad at full speed, excited that he was finally home after so long.
Then Camila came rushing in to see where Milo had run off to. And that's when she saw the love of her life standing there with a bouquet of flowers hugging their son. She couldn't believe her eyes. He was finally home.

"Shawn? You're home?" Mila whispered scared that if she talked too loud her dream might vanish.

"Yeah babygirl I'm home.. for good"Shawn answered back while picking up his son and walking over to his girlfriend, standing there with only a camisole tank top and pajama shorts. When Shawn finally made it too Camila, she hugged him so tight letting him know just how much she missed him.
So yeah the media and his fans might not know about his relationship and about him being a dad but it was all worth it. Because at the end of the day he got to go home to his little family and cuddle up on the couch and watch tangled together.
Shawn looked down and saw Camila cuddled on in his chest with Milo in her arms.
Yeah.. it was totally worth it
