"Bad Boy"

Shawn Mendes was your typical 17 year old bad boy. Everybody thought he was a jerk and slept around with anything that walked and breathed. He was known for his "one night stands" with girls. No one really knew Shawn Mendes tho. They just assumed that his life was perfect. That he was the perfect rich bad boy that had no problems. The rich bad boy that got everything handed to him and the guy that everybody was afraid of.

Then again no one actually knew about Shawns personal life. They had no idea who his parents were, where he lived, if he had any siblings or any family relatives.

The answer to all those questions were a mystery to everybody at Pine Ridge Secondary School in Toronto. They knew nothing about Shawn Mendes yet they seem to have him all figured out. He was proclaimed the bad boy on the first day of Junior year when a teacher asked why he was late to class. Now most people would have given a basic  reason like because they were running late or some family problem happened. But  instead Shawn simply said "because I am" and then proceeded to walk to a seat. No one knew that he was late because he had to make sure his little sister was up and ready to go. He had to make sure she taken care of  before even thinking about his own life.

Shawn and Aaliyah Mendes have been on their own ever since Shawn started High-school and seeing as Shawn was on his final year. That was 4 years. For 4 years Shawn has had to step up and be a parent for Aaliyah.

He was up almost every night, studying not only his school work but the next chapter in Aaliyah's math because she couldn't understand it. He was up late every night making sure that his sister had everything she needed for school the next morning. He worked 2 jobs trying to maintain his home life.

Shawn very quickly figured out that his regular life and school life couldn't be mixed. His school friends couldn't know that at the age of 15 Shawns father left to go and marry some women who didn't have kids. Or that his mom had died at the age of 10 leaving him and his dead beat of a father to take care of  a 1 year old little girl. Once Aaliyah was around the age of 6 his father left. Leaving Shawn to take care of her while he was still growing up himself.

No one knew that his mother had left him thousands of dollars in her will. That's the reason Shawn had such a nice car and always looked put together. But anything that included things that weren't necessary he had payed for on his own. He wanted to teach his little sister not to always depend on Mommy and Daddy whenever she needed something. Because according to his calculations his parents weren't coming back.

Shawn had no close friends that knew everything about him. He had no one to talk to when he broke down from all the stress and anger he had. All his school "friends" were all fake. They only wanted to be his friend because Shawn was they "rich bad boy that has no problems". Boy if only they knew just a little of Shawns life they wouldn't be saying that. This was all until his sophomore  year when he met Camila.

Camila Cabello was the 16 year old quiet shy girl that didn't have many friends. She was the one girl that everyone picked on. She was the girl that never talked in class but had the highest grade out of everybody. She was the observer of the student body at school. She knew all the secrets and gossip but had no one to tell.

She had all of 2 friends. Arianna, the party girl. The one that if you told any type of gossip too. The whole school would know in seconds. She was the loud and rowdy popular girl. She would leave Camila to go to a random persons party without asking if she wanted to go. She was the complete opposite of Camila. Then she had Ally her most closest friend. But even still Camila had issues trusting people, for no reason either she just couldn't trust people. Ally only knew what Camila wanted her to know. Ally was the friend who was always by Camila and would always stand up for her. But when it came to when Mlia needed a shoulder to cry on. Ally was too busy with her popular friends to actually care.
