Snow In Freeridge (Ruby) 🎄

It was December 20th and you and your boyfriend, Ruby, were cuddling while watching a Christmas movie in the movie theater.

Ruby and his family moved out to Brentwood when his father got a promotion. Ruby was only in town for the holidays and you don't want him to leave.

Even though you have been dating for two years and stay in contact, you never get to celebrate your anniversary with him which is the day after Christmas.

"Ruby?" you asked and Ruby looked at you with a small smile.

"Yes beautiful?" said Ruby as he caressed your face and moved a part of your hair in front of your face behind your right ear.

"I don't want you to leave again." you said while getting even closer to him more than ever.

"Y/N, I still got a few more days. I'm not leaving now." said Ruby.

"I know but we never get to spend our anniversary together. Do you know how much I miss you? When you're not with me at school?" you said sadly while looking up at him.

"I know, sweetheart. I miss you too. Don't worry. I won't leave you. We gotta stay strong and until we graduate, we are going to be together forever, okay?" said Ruby and gives you a small kiss on your forehead.

You smile softly and you look back at the movie that was playing in front of you.

Two hours later, you entered your house and went up to your room. You opened your bedroom door to see Monse and Olivia sitting on your bed making you surprised.

"Oh. Hey guys." you said while entering your room and closing the door behind you. You start to take off your coat and boots.

"How was your time with Ruby?" asked Monse and you smiled a bit by hearing his name.

"It was good. Just don't want him to leave again after Christmas is over. You know our anniversary is on the 26th." you said as you sit on your bed between them.

"Did he tell you he loves you, yet? Y'all be dating for two years now." asked Olivia concerned.

"I don't think our relationship is not at that level yet." you said shyly.

"What are you talking about? It's been two years! Two! It's time to say it. Ruby should know if he loves you or not. I should tell him off right now! said Monse, starting to get furious.

"No! Please, I'm just scared. What if he doesn't love me? What if when I do tell him, he may break up with me? What if-"

"Y/N. I promise you. He loves you. He's probably...trying to find the right moment." said Olivia trying to get your hopes up. You nodded in response.

"Well, I'm going to go now. Gotta go home and help dad with decorations." said Monse as she starts to put on her boots and coat.

"Oh yeah. I gotta go too. See you later, Y/N." said Olivia as she zips up her coat and puts on a hat.

"Bye guys." you said as Monse and Olivia left your room and house. You were left alone in your room and you went on your phone to check the weather.

You looked and saw the next few days would be sunny and kinda warm with no snow in sight.

"Please snow tomorrow!" you said and your mom came into your room.

"Mom. Are you okay?" you asked as you looked at her away from your phone.

"I'm fine, honey. Dinner is ready. How are you?" asked your mom as she sits on the edge of your bed.

"I'm fine. Just sad that Ruby would be back to his new place and I won't be able to see him again until who knows what." you said sadly while your mom moved closer to you.

"Well...maybe a Christmas miracle would happen that would make Ruby stay." said your mom and you gave her a smile.

"I wish." you said and you looked out of your window from your bed to see stars across the night sky outside along with a full moon.

"Well, come on now. Let's go eat dinner and start decorating." said your mom and she left your room. You looked outside the window again before you got up and went downstairs.

After you leave your room, a star shines more unexpectedly and then goes back to its normal shine.

A few days later, you woke up and you looked at your phone. It was December 26th. The day of your second anniversary.

You sighed knowing that Ruby is back in Brentwood already. You got up and put on your robe along with some slippers on. You walked up to your window and then opened up the curtains.

You gasped to see snow falling down and you looked outside to see at least six inches of snow outside.

"I can't believe it snowed! Does that mean-" You heard your bedroom door knocked a few moments later.

You quickly went up and took a deep breath before turning the knob and opening it. You gasped to see Ruby on the other side with a present in his hand and a smile.

"Ruby!" you screamed and you went up and kissed him right there. Ruby quickly kisses you back passionately. You were so happy that Ruby was here now in your arms.

"Ruby? What are you doing here?" you asked after the kiss.

"I'm moving back to Freeridge!" Ruby said and you started to cry.

"Princesa, why are you crying?" Ruby caressed your face and wiped your tears away.

"I'm just happy. My wish was for you to move back to Freeridge and stay with me this Christmas." you said and Ruby gives you another soft kiss softly.

"Here. I got you a present." said Ruby and you opened it up in front of him. You gasped to see a crystal Christmas star necklace.

You undo it from the package to look at it more closely.

"Ruby...this is beautiful." you said as you looked at the necklace and Ruby smiled. He then gained a red blush and looked down glad to see you happy with his gift.

"Look inside." said Ruby and you turned the crystal Christmas star on the side to see there was a little door.

You opened it and you saw on one side, a picture of you and Ruby cuddling together and on the other side that says "I love you" in cursive.

"Ruby..."

"Y/N, I love you." said Ruby and you looked at him and you saw him looking at you deep into your eyes.

"I love you too." you said looking back at him. Ruby smiled again and kissed you in happiness.

You two continue kissing as snow outside still falls outside. This was the best anniversary ever.
