"Fine.." Luke grumbled sarcastically.
"I guess I'll do this all by myself." Luke continued, dragging out the all. I laughed at him and Stella just kept wiggling her eyebrows at me and him.
"Please Stella. We are just friends." Luke scolded her, seriously. I felt a huge relief drop from my stomach. I didn't like Luke in that way, we were just great friends already. It seems really weird to be friends with someone in a prison but we didn't exactly care. We made a mini gang already in these prison walls.
"I'm not writing anymore. Let's get food." Luke said.
"Yes! Praise the lord! I was starving my ass off." Stella informed us.
"Too much information much." I told her. She laughed and nodded, placing the book back on the shelf and giving the pen back to the rude lady. She scrunches her eyebrows at us as we walked away in our orange outfits. I giggled at how weird we looked, and I mentally remembered where we put the book. Row 14, shelf 4, The Undo Charisma.
"Gosh you guys! There is nothing to do here!" Stella whined. "I wish we could just go to an amusement park, haven't been there in years." She gushed.
"Soon, soon." Luke mumbled, glancing toward the exit door.
I rocked on my shoes as we stepped into the afternoon sunlight, and we stayed in the shade, watching the dusty air fly around.
"Prison is boring..." Stella stated, slitting her eyes.
"There's not much we can do about it." Luke giggled.
"Shut up Luke, you were whining all day too." She protested. I had to bite back a laugh so they wouldn't get mad at me. I still felt very weird around Stella and Luke, because we're in a prison after all, there's no harm you can't create.
"When should we do this exactly?" I questioned Luke in the silence.
"Sometime this week.." He answered.
"Exactly...?" I urged.
"3 days, maybe 4." He stated plainly. I hummed in response.
"Well let's practice this plan until we can't get it wrong Stella stated confidently.
"After we eat." I inform her. I can't help the aching in my stomach for if we get caught. I wonder if Luke and Stella are worried at all. I shove the feeling out as we walk into the cafeteria.
"Thank you." I state as I grab my food with Stella and Luke.
"God, you're so innocent." Stella stated.
"Murdered." I informed her, shuddering at myself.
"Like one person, please, I can do that with my eyes closed." Stella smirked.
"Stop." Luke intruded. I silently thanked him, and wondered if Stella would murder again when we get out.
"Wanna eat in the library?" I asked.
"Sure." Luke answered as Stella nodded her head.
"C'mon." I said to them, walking away toward the hallway.
Once we reached the library, we all sat down at the same table we sat at earlier. We are our food in silence, an uncomfortable silence. It was super quiet in the library as the librarian was deep in reading her novel. The only sound was the chews of our awful food, the turning of her pages, and the shuddering of the metal fan, covered by a thin ceiling, so the air could still get through.
"I'm gonna get a book." Stella winked, trying to be unsuspicious. I bit back a laugh as she stalked away to the shelves, as me and Luke finished our food. She soon returned with The Undo Charisma, which was on Row 14, shelf 4. Which I happily remembered.
"Let's get this right." Stella whispered only so we could hear her, as she set the book in the middle of the table, opening it up to the pages Luke wrote on.
