A bright yellow flash almost hit where we were standing, but we crouched down and ht the floor with a quiet thud. Faint voices were getting louder and louder. I faced everyone and nodded towards the left side of the gate. We crawled over and heard the voices approach the gate.

"Did you see anything?" A voice asked.

"No, you?" Another replied. Footsteps marched over to the gate and we heard jingles of keys.

"The keys!" Stella hissed, under the voices of the people. A crack sounded at the floor and the men walked on, murmuring.

"Todd, I can't believe it, this is the third time this week! He always leaves the key in the gate." One laughed.

"He's gonna get his ass fired once sheriff hears this." Another chuckled. I heard once shuffle the keys around, grab it in his hands, then shuffle them again.

"At least he is smothering his prints all over it, to remove ours.." Luke stated, getting up.

"Well yeah. But now how are we gonna get the hell out of here!" Stella said, motioning to he gate.

"God damnit.." Luke muttered, clutching his chin. After moments of thinking what we could do, I spotted a light color out zone the gate.

"What the.." I whispered to myself, walking over to it. Before I knew it, a key was in my hands. I widened my eyes and showed Luke and Stella.

"The guards dropped it when they were picking up the keys!" I informed them, grinning. Luke smirked, and took the key from me. He walked over to the keyhole and unlocked the gate, without a second guess.

"Our luck!" Stella almost yelled through excitement. We opened the gate a little bit and stepped outside.

"Woah. This isn't real." Stella whispered, putting her hands in the air. Luke locked the gate again and I handed him the rag. He wiped down the key and held it with the key. Holding the rag in his hands firmly, he threw the key, still holding onto the rag with the same hand, so it wouldn't get his fingerprints on it.

"Watch us get caught." Stella laughed, walking really fairly away from the prison.

"I feel so free!" I stated, spinning in circles.

"Not really.." Luke said, motioning to our outfits.

"Oh yeah..." I mumbled. "But I feel free inside." I added, not looking at his facial expression.

"Where should we go?" I asked.

Luke grinned. "Clifford's."
