SETTING : MORIONDO HOUSE — PRES. MAV, CATHERINE

CAMERA shows PRES. MAV either SITTING IN HIS OFFICE / IN A VERANDA / BY HIMSELF.

SETTING : SCHOOL

CAMERA shows a young PRES. MAV looking through the shelves of the LIBRARY, specifically in the POLITICAL / ACADEMIC SECTION.

a young CATHERINE suddenly emerges from the FICTION SECTION.

CATHERINE — What do we have here? Ang pinakamatalinong studyante ng school na ito? Sa buong Agape pa nga yata, eh.

MAV laughs.

MAV — Nako. 'Di naman.

CATHERINE — Hmp. Di naman? Natataasan mo pa nga ata sa IQ ang mga upperclassman natin, eh.

CATHERINE (whispers) — Sana, ako rin.

MAV — Ano 'yun?

CATHERINE sighs.

CATHERINE — I'm failing some of my classes. Gusto ko rin maging katulad mo, na matalino, na walang pinorpoblema sa buhay.

CAMERA shows MAV smiling at CATHERINE.

("Godsent" continues to play.)

CAMERA shows MAV and CATHERINE in the LIBRARY, where MAV is tutoring CATHERINE in the subjects she's failing.

MONTAGE — shows how the two develop a bond over the years. They go on dates, walks, shows how they graduated together, how MAV became president, how they got a child together, etc.

MONTAGE stops.

CAMERA shows PRESENT-DAY PRES. MAV, with a reaction of realization.

("Godsent" fades out.)

PRES. MAV — Catherine... Kay tagal nga kitang minahal, at minamahal. Loving freely feels so warm and safe and secure — bakit ko nga ba ito ipagkakait sa anak ko at sa lahat ng tao?

CAMERA shows PRES. MAV walking out of the room.

PRES. MAV (voiceover) — SM161117 is to be eradicated.
