"I can't believe we're finally done with final exams!" Faith exclaimed, re-energized after her last exam of the term.

"Congrats on finishing your first term! Only a thousand more to go." Christopher teased, wrapping an arm around her shoulders as they walked out of the building.

"Oh whatever. Not all of us are almost done with Uni." She laughed, rolling her eyes.

He chuckled, raising an eyebrow "It is quite nice now that I think of it, you should give it a try."

"It's not my fault you're two years older." She exclaimed, lightly hitting his arm.

"I'm just messing with you." He smiled, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. "I'm very proud."

"You should be." She teased. "And now for my favorite season!"

"Christmas?" Christopher 'guessed' with a knowing smile.

"Yes! It's only a week or so away!" She exclaimed, as they stepped out into the brisk winter cold, small snowflakes floating down from the sky and creating a winter wonderland across campus. "It's so beautiful. I love snow."

He smiled, watching her eyes brighten in awe as she looked up at the sky, the snowflakes falling on her hair like twinkling diamonds. "It's the best."

"Where are we headed? Back to mine?" She asked, slipping her small gloved hand into his.

"Sounds good. And now that final exams are over, I believe you owe me a date." He smiled, reminding her of the deal they had made only a few weeks prior.

"Oh yeah! An official one anyways." She grinned. They had been out multiple times over the past few weeks, since they practically saw each other most hours of the day. But this one would hold the title of the first date.

"Are you free tonight?" He asked, a knowing smile on his face.

She grinned, "Don't tell me you already have something planned."

"Of course I do. I've been waiting for this for almost a month now." He laughed, "Not that I haven't seen you since."

"Fair enough. And yes." She smiled as they reached her dorm room. Amber was most likely back from her exams as well since she had luckily finished early.

"Perfect. I'll leave you to get ready then. Pick you up at 7?"

"Sounds great." She smiled as he lightly kissed her cheek,

"See you then."

Unlocking the door, she stepped into the room her and Amber shared. The room was lightly scented of cinnamon, courtesy of the candles they had recently bought. "Hey guys!"

"How was your last final?" Amber smiled, looking up from the bed where her and Rory were watching a film.

"I think it went well! But it's done and over with and I'm so ready for Christmas!!"

"I know." Amber chuckled, "We did already decorate after all."

"Yes indeed." She smiled, glancing around their room, decked out in silver and red with garlands of green and twinkling fairy lights. They even had a small christmas tree, decorated with a few sparkling ornaments. "Hey Rory."

"What's up?" He smiled, sitting up from the bed.

"Not much, just probably going to start getting ready."

"Ready for what?" Rory asked curiously.

"Oh, Christopher and I have a date tonight." Faith smiled, plugging in her straightener. She had naturally curly hair but it was nice to loosen them up into waves for special occasions.
