Dear Diary,

The teacher placed me next to this burly girl called Gina. She was busy munching some M and Ms. Her look shouted a warning. She had stormy grey eyes, puffed cheeks and I am pretty sure her stomach is not a six pack.

Class was quite boring. The teacher, Ms Haynes, thought it was best to start the year with revision. And she chose my most hated topic. Charts and statistics. I started taking down notes and she wanted us to research stuff on our computer.

After I was done, I started watching some Netflix shows on my laptop.Secretly.I turned the computer so Gina cannot see. I read the subtitles to understand.

Class was over and time for lunch.

I went to my locker to get my lunch. I knew I wasn't ready to try the new food yet so I asked for a packed lunch just for today.

I closed my locker door and noticed a girl standing next to me with a smile plastered on her face. Immediately, I knew she was one of the popular girls because she was pretty. Her name was Jane?Jenna?Juliana?I seriously can't remember...I only know she is in my class.

She had a loose fishtail braid in the colour of a hazelnut-her hair was really wavy- and few freckles around her nose. Her eyes were like a kaleidoscope-it changed colour according to the light shone. She wore a white tank top and denim jeans with sneakers. Her ears weren't pierced and she had a mild brown skin complexion which really suited her.

"Hi,I'm Judy Crimson."

I knew it!Her name did start with a J.

"I think you know my name, the principal told like the whole wide world already."

She chuckled."Not really,Eve.She only told our class but I don't really like it when people announce my name to a crowd cause it makes me feel like a coward.I guess we are alike."

Alike?

I looked at the mirror in my locker.I looked really different.I had a spotless face with Mediterranean blue eyes.My hair was straight and I liked it hung over my shoulders mostly.I had a milky white complexion.

I told her the difference we really had.
