Dave ran towards a canopy, his body all wet.

How did this happen?

The weather is good today. Let's go for a walk!  Dave thought to himself.

He ate his breakfast and left his house in excitement. He planned to walk along the seashore, but it started raining heavily on his way there.

Should have checked the weather forecast before doing this. He realised he didn't bring his umbrella.

Dave couldn't run towards home since it was too far away and the rain was pouring. Loud thunders could be heard and the cold wind blew. Dave was shivering when the wind blew towards him. God, I hope I won't catch a cold because of this. Dave thought to himself. The only thing he could do is to wait until the rain stops, or he could call someone for help. Oh wait, he left his phone in his house. Dave blamed himself for rushing out the house and not checking whether or not he brought all his belongings. Now he was standing there, hoping the rain would stop as soon as possible. This all seemed like a good idea to Dave in the beginning, but now it wasn't.

After a few minutes, the rain still hadn't stopped. Dave sighed, deciding if he should ran towards home in the heavy rain. However, a familiar figure could be seen at the end of the street. He was holding an umbrella, running towards him.

"...Zak?"

"Dave!" Zak cried, looking at Dave's wet clothes. "What are you doing here?"

"I think I should be the one who would ask this question." Dave laughed.

"I tried to call you a million times but you didn't pick up! So I planned to go to your house to check up on you." Zak explained.

"Wow, you cared about me? How cute." Dave smirked.

"Aaaaaa that'a not what I meant! You're still an idot," Zak yelled, his cheeks red. "So....you wanna come over to my house? Since your house was like miles away."

"Oh okay," Dave shrugged. "You just want me to spend more time with you."

"Oh my god stop with this nonsense!" Zak yelped, "You're making this very embarrassing!"

"Okok I'll stop, just because it was freezing right now." Dave winked at Zak.

They started to walk back to Zak's house. Zak was still holding the umbrella. He stretched his arm out so that the umbrella could cover Dave too. This was tiring, but it was worth it. Zak thought to himself as he was staring at Dave.

Dave turned his head around to face Zak, making eye contact with him. Zak forced a smile as he was struggling to hold the umbrella. Dave soon realised this and smirked.

"Let me hold this." Dave said as he got the umbrella from Zak.

"Oh okay." Zak was so confused that Dave didn't leave a sarcastic remark.

Dave wrapped one of his arm around Zak's waist, making Zak stand closer to himself. Zak felt blood rushing to his cheeks. He looked at Dave, whom was looking at him too. They stopped walking and stood still. Soon, Dave leaned in for a kiss. A long and passionate one. Zak wrapped his arms around Dave for a hug, his face buried into Dave's chest.

"That was cute." Dave chuckled.
