"Where am I?" Zak mumbled, scratching the back of his head. All he remembered was seeing a flash of red light in front of him. A shadow crawled behind his body. He turned around and saw a pair of glowing red eyes, then nothing. He remembered nothing at all.
He stood up look at his surroundings. Broken windows, cracked floor, cobwebs...He was in an abandoned house.
"Oh God, please tell me this was a dream."
There was no time to panic. Zak needed to leave this house right now. He ran downstairs and saw the exit, unlocked. He walked towards the exit, the floor creaking to every step Zak took, unusually loud. Right about when Zak reached out for the doorknob, a flash of red light appeared in front of Zak, again.
Uh oh.
Zak fell onto the floor when the mysterious shadow stood in front of him. The shadow slowly revealed himself. Zak couldn't believe his eyes.
Stood there, was a tall boy with pale skin, sharp teeth, and red eyes. He was wearing a black gown and a golden crown, which was shimmering in the dark. The tall boy let out an evil smirk. Zak couldn't let his eyes get off the tall boy's face. His heartbeat quickened, is it because he was in a horrible situation or is it because the tall boy in front of him was unexpectedly attractive? Okay, no time to think about this. What am I going to do now? Zak thought to himself.
"Who are you!?" Zak cried, his voice shaking.
"You don't need to know."
"Please... just let me leave this place." Zak begged.
"Well... there's one thing I should do before you leave."
"Huh what?"
"You'll see." The taller boy replied smugly.
Zak had a very bad feeling about this, his stomach filled with butterflies. He found the boy handsome, but he was also scared of him.
The tall boy walked closer towards Zak, their nose almost touching. The taller boy let out an evil chuckle, as his face slowly moving towards Zak's collarbone. Zak wanted to scream, but nothing came out from his mouth when he tried to. All he could do was lying on the floor and being vulnerable to the boy who was on top of him, completely ignoring personal space. His body froze when he felt a sharp pain near his collarbone.
"OWWW STOP! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Zak screamed. He tried to struggle, but the person above him was too strong. He could smell the scent of his own blood, slowly filling up the whole room. His blood dripping down from his shoulder. He felt the taller boy was slowly sucking his blood away, his breath sending tingles down Zak's spine. Soon after, the taller backed away from Zak, his mouth dyed red with Zak's blood. He grinned mischievously, which made Zak even more uncomfortable.
"I keep my promises."
Zak was unconscious, his vision blurry. He was still lying on the ground, seeing the blood of his own. The taller boy picked him up bridal style, trying not to hurt the boy any further. He teleported to Zak's house and let Zak go.
"How do you know where my house was?" Zak asked in his weak voice.
"Reasons, I'm Dave by the way." The taller boy answered as he disappeared in front of Zak in a blink of an eye.
Zak stood there frozen, rethinking about what just happened. His cheeks slightly warming up as he recalled how Dave looked like. There's no way vampires exist in real life and there's NO way he would fall in love with a vampire. He thought.
He opened the door with his keys and entered his house, still thinking about the vampire he just met.
