"But it's already time."

"Today's Friday, right?" said Dorothy. She returned to the room, grabbed a VGA (Video Graphics Adapter) cable, plugged it into her laptop, and connected it to the projector.

"Class, I apologize for the interruption, but I have something to show you."

"Do you know her already?" Shawn asked his students.

The students shook their heads and shrugged.

"I'm Teacher Dorothy, a former Science Coordinator here," she said with a smile, testing the VGA connection by playing the first clip, "and I'm also a batchmate and neighbor of your dearest teacher."

The students grew more interested as they noticed Dorothy preparing video clips on alien documentation. She replayed the first clip, then the second, and the third. Their eyes and mouths remained wide open, captivated by the wonder and amazement of what they saw. They discovered many things about planets beyond Earth and strange creatures they had never seen before.

After the fourth clip, the students asked for more, but Dorothy responded sadly, "I would love to show more, but it's already time. I promise to share more with you next week." Yet, the students pleaded as if they needed to see more. Dorothy glanced at Shawn, who nodded, encouraging her to continue. Reluctantly, she showed the rest of the clips until the time reached seven o'clock in the evening.

The students were thrilled and satisfied after watching all the videos. They had learned so much, covering the entire topic. Their minds were totally captivated. In fact, as they went downstairs, they were still discussing aliens because the images and ideas were fresh in their minds.

Shawn thanked Dorothy for her care and dedication to the students and his class. They packed up their equipment, put everything in their bags, and left the room, locking the door behind them.

About two hundred paces from the school gate, as they crossed P. del Rosario Street, Shawn's phone rang unexpectedly. It was the school principal, calling him to go to her office. It was bad timing because he had planned to ask Dorothy on a date for the first time.

Shawn returned to the school and went to the principal's office. When he opened the door, he was greeted by the principal's stern tone and raised eyebrow. "What did you do to your students, Mr. Rodriguez?"
