Hey, you guys probably have been waiting for another part by now. Or... Not. You probably have given up at this point. & I know it's already been a year and that I can't explain myself for the long wait but...
I'll be discontinuing this story.
I honestly thought I could continue this, but I simply couldn't. I told myself that the only thing that took place here was nothing but a hiatus, and of course, that wasn't the case.

It's not like I didn't care for this story, I genuinely loved making this and the reviews and others that it's been receiving is not but just a phenomenal thing to me, I swear.
This is the first ever story that I really wanted to move forward with, to continue and make a good living off of it (I hoped, at least). Because this story? This was the story that really blew up. Just 1k reads is a phenomenal thing to be witnessed already. And it was a first to me, and I wholeheartedly took it in.

But unfortunately, I just started drifting apart from the story and from Wattpad itself. It honestly just didn't stick with me ever since then.

I stopped working on it. I didn't intend to. All I wanted was some alone time, maybe a couple of breaks here and there but... I just left it here, all dusty. 'This is just a hiatus,' I thought to myself, 'I'll work on it again: guaranteed. I promise. I promise.'
But I never did. I broke that promise. I got disinterested, frustrated. I can't exactly find the right words. But it's there. The thoughts there. It's just there...

I can't leave some of you hanging by a thread for literally nothing. I'm so sorry. I sincerely do apologize for this, and that I might've disappointed all of you. I understand if you are angry at me for releasing this and not another chapter, but I honestly can't do it anymore.

It is but a firm decision. I have opted to this and I won't be taking this back. I'm sorry you guys are unsatisfied because of this, I really am.

I am also trying to decide on whether or not this story should be unpublished. It doesn't mean I'm deleting this, I'm proud of my craft and I want to keep it. But I simply can't show this off to the public because it's nothing but a blank page: discontinued and not taken into account.

With this, I am going to consider your choices. You guys have the ability to choose whether this story should be privated or otherwise.

If you guys want it to be unpublished, I will take it all in. If you guys do not want it to be unpublished, I'm politely asking of a favor for you to state your reason.

To add that if this story is still going to be shown in public, I will be giving it away to someone and picking it off as not my own craft.
Since this particular person now has the ownership of this story and will be writing and rewriting it, it will be passed off their own and not mine. They continued it. They remade it. It's only right to do so.

I will be picking a person, and not at random.

I want to hear your reason as to why you want ownership to this craft. Though, once you do have it, please just put somewhere in you soon-to-be work that I inspired you to at least continue it or rewrite it.

Comment down on this message below if you want to talk with me regarding this passing off on the story. I'll also be answering some questions if you're still in confusion.

Again, I thank you dearly for your patience. I sincerely apologize for all of this and for what trouble I've caused for you all to wait this far for nothing but to announce discontinuation.

In trade of this, fortunately, I will be creating a new story - and this time, I am sure and willing to continue making it.
I won't be spoiling anything, but it is a science fiction genre. So best be prepared, I guess.

Thank you for reading this until the end. I hope you guys can at long last understand why this hasn't been updated.
You guys deserve an explanation and an apology.
