One of Dragon Ball’s most interesting concepts is that races aren’t defined by cultural or ethnic rules, but rather by what planet each character is from. Everyone is human and equal in that sense, but they're still broken down by race based on what their planet of origin is: Earthlings come from Earth, Namekians come from Namek, and Saiyans come from either Planet Vegeta or Sadala. Taking that into account, there is racism in Dragon Ball, but not in the way that we know it. Vegeta would likely look down on you because you’re an Earthling. In fact, so would Hit.
In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Hit is typically as less than polite towards Earthlings, to say the least. If you’re playing as an Earthling and you choose him as a master, he’ll have some unsavory thoughts to share with you and your overall lack of potential. Remember that Hit is actually 1,000 years old and you’ve basically got a racist old grandpa on your hands. To be fair, if you do finish training with him as an Earthling, Hit will rethink his ways and start to perceive you in a far better light. It’s kind of weird for Dragon Ball to have a legitimately racist heroic character, but what can you do?
