Connor was having a nice day at the DPD.

After all, it's always a good day when you are assigned to decorate the Christmas tree.

After some hard work, the tree was settled. It was decorated with red green and blue baubles and with fairy lights. Everything was perfect. The only problem was to put the star at the right place. Connor was too short, even with a chair to help.

Connor was starting to feel hopeless until he saw Nines, the tallest person in the DPD, sitting at his desk.

- Hi Nines !

- Hello Connor.

- I have a small favor to ask...

- What can I do for you ?

- I have to put the star on the Christmas tree but... I'm too small...

- I didn't know you were a believer.

Connor had totally forgot how hard it was to talk to Nines since he wasn't a deviant. Yet.

- I'm not a believer, indeed. But, decorating the tree is fun. And it's pretty to look at.

- And you absolutely need a star on it ?

- Of course ! A Christmas tree without a star is not a Christmas tree.

Nines got up from his chair, showing Connor that he accepted to help him.

Even with his height, Nines had a hard time putting the star at the right place.

- This tree is too big.

- Definitively. But it's beautiful.

- I don't really have an opinion on that matter. Now that I accomplished this can I go back to work ?

- Of course, Nines, said Connor with a sigh.
