"Ryan, get off the floor, you're gonna make everyone think a Frighter got you!" Hailey exclaimed, clearly irritated.
"Awww come on Hailey, I don't look that bad!" Ryan whined.
"Yes, you do. Now get up and dust yourself off so we can all go to breakfast looking like people and not corpses," Hailey replied, fed up with Ryan's incessant whining. Ryan rolled his eyes at her.
"Hailey, I get you're the 'mom' friend and all, but that doesn't give ya rights to boss me 'round!" he replied, exasperated. Hailey glared at Ryan before leaving, mumbling incoherently to herself.
Gray walked into the room with a confused look on his face.
"What's with Drama Queen over there?" he asked, gesturing vaguely behind him at the doors through which Hailey had disappeared.
"Who knows," Ryan said, shrugging. He had finally picked himself off the floor and was busy dusting himself off like Hailey scolded.
"Anyways, just wanted to make sure you guys were coming, breakfast is in 15 minutes. Don't be late!" Gray continued happily and reentered the hall that led to the cafeteria.
"He's right, we should go," said Nicky, her stomach rumbling audibly. Ryan only nodded as they hurried out into the hallway in order to catch up to Gray.
