"Since when do you lock the window!"

Youngjae rolled his eyes harder than usual...if it was possible, "Let him in please."

Yugyeom nodded, he got up to unlock the window for the loud Thai male.

Bambam made his way inside with a huff, "Okay, Youngjae before you get mad that I'm here Jaebeom told me to come and see yo-"

"It's fine. I overreacted and took my anger out on you. I'm sorry, Bambam."

Bambam blinked surprised, "No, it's okay I understand." He sat on the bed with Yugyeom and Youngjae, "So now that's outta the way, we gotta do something together. We haven't done anything together yet."

"Our vacation literally just started," Yugyeom replied.

"And it will be over before you know it!" Bambam exclaimed.

"Okay, so what do you want to do?" Youngjae asked.

"Let's go to the mall Saturday cause I technically shouldn't be here right now."

"Technically?"

"Bambam's on punishment," Yugyeom replied.

"Yeah, so I gotta bounce before my mom finds me and kills me! Hopefully, Baby is covering for me as I asked!" Bambam smiled before hopping out the window, "See you guys, Saturday."

"What is wrong with him," Youngjae deadpanned.

Yugyeom laughed, "Everything. But back to you and Jaebeom..."

"What?" Youngjae questioned, "There's nothing."

"Oh come on, everyone knows Jaebeom likes you Youngjae," Yugyeom smirked, "It's been like that since middle school."

Youngjae scoffed, "You really think that?"

"Oh yeah? Come on, his eyes literally sparkle looking at you!"

"Sparkle? What shoujo anime have you been watching?" Youngjae teased.

"I rewatched Toradora recently," Yugyeom admitted, "And that's not the point! Point is, you're single, Jaebeom likes you and boom, pow! Fireworks! Baby making!"

Youngjae slapped Yugyeom, "I don't want to date anytime soon, there's no point."

Yugyeom rolled his eyes, "Love is fake!" He mocked, "Youngjae, that's not true at all!"

Youngjae stood up and shrugged, "Your parents are still together, you weren't cheated on by someone."

Yugyeom sighed, knowing he wouldn't be able to break through Youngjae's opinion, "I'm gonna head home."

Youngjae simply nodded and hummed prompting an eye roll from Yugyeom as he made his way out of the window. Youngjae scowled and left his room, heading for the kitchen to drown and unwanted thoughts with junk.

"Youngjae? You're back home?" His mom greeted him as Youngjae stepped into the kitchen.

"Yes," Youngjae replied, "You're off work?"

"No, I was fortunate enough to get to come home for lunch but I never know when they'll call me back to the hospital," she sighed.

Youngjae nodded and grabbed a huge bag of chips out of the pantry, then made his to the fridge for a soda. He walked into the living room and plopped on the couch.

"Please tell me you aren't spending your entire break this way?"

"No," Youngjae assured, "I'm going out with Bam and Yugyeom on the weekend. Besides, I have summer reading to do."

His mother sighed in relief, "I forgot, you're studious. Ranked one."

A small hum left Youngjae's mouth before he stuffed it with chips.

"Aish, they're calling me!" Youngjae's mother said before hastily eating the rest of her food.

"Don't choke and die," Youngjae snickered watching his mother. The woman simply glared at her son before saying, "You know the Heimlich maneuver!"

"I'm not the one who gets paid to save people."

Before she could answer, her phone rung again. A line of profanities left the woman's mouth before she rushed out the door and answered the phone with an, "I'm on the way!"

Youngjae laughed at his mom before going behind her and locking the door. He made his way back to the couch and sat there for the rest of the day, lazily tv surfing and stuffing his face.
