Horror Movie - Adrienette

Marinette's P.O.V

"Where are we going Alya?" I asked my best friend as she dragged me from my family bakery and onto the sidewalk.

"It's a surprise." She said with a devilish smirk. Oh god. I really didn't want to know what she had planned in store for me, yet I was curious. Especially to where the hell we were going!

"Come on Alya, you know I don't like surprises" I said as we were walking towards the movie theater.

Ooo! We must be seeing a movie. I hope it's Oceans 8...

Alya stopped in front of the movie theater and she turned to me. I smiled and she looked at me confusingly, "Are we seeing Oceans 8?!" I said excitedly with a big grin.

I looked at my her and tilted my head as she began to burst into laughter "Why are you laughi-?" I was stopped mid-sentence as I noticed two familiar figures coming towards us. My eyes widened and my heart stopped as they got closer. There was Nino and beside him...

A-ADRIEN?!

WHY THE FRICKING FRICK WAS ADRIEN AGRESTE HERE?!?!

I started to initially freak out and grabbed Alya's arm and shook it "Alya what the hell?! Why did you bring Adrien and Nino?!" I squealed. Alya laughed and shook her head "Oh Marinette... when will you learn that I am actually helping you by bringing him here with Nino. Plus..." she leaned into my ear and whispered "This could be a double date" she grinned. I turned as red as my Ladybug suit and then heard them speak.

"Hey dudes" said Nino cheerfully as he came up and gave Alya a kiss. She kissed him back and they went at it for a little too long. Adrien and I stood there awkwardly, both turning red as tomatoes. Adrien looked over at me with a nervous grin "Hey Marinette" he said. I grinned awkwardly "H-hi Adri-Adrien" I said with a blunt wave and gave a nervous smile. Then, I needed to break the ice. I coughed "Ah-hem" I looked over at the two lovebirds. They both chuckled "Sorry guys. I just couldn't keep off her" Nino said and smirked at Alya.

I scrunched my nose "Ew okay you two save it for later when I'm not watching awkwardly" I raised an eyebrow. They both laughed, as well as Adrien letting out a small chuckle from behind me.

"Alright alright. Come on, let's head inside" Alya said and held Nino's hand as the waltzed inside the movie theater. 

I looked over at Adrien and grinned and he grinned back. He walked up next to me "So are you excited for the movie? I heard it's pretty scary" he said as we walked inside. I looked at him in confusion "Ocean's 8 isn't scary?" I said with a small but nervous chuckle. Adrien returned my confused look "Oh... didn't Alya tell you?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. Now I was getting nervous "D-didn't tell me w-what?" I stuttered and fumbled with my fingers.

"We're seeing IT" He blurted out.

"WHAT?!" I yelped. People in the theater lobby looked at me "S-sorry" I said and then stormed up to Alya "Alya what the hell! Why didn't you tell me we were seeing a horror movie?! You know I hate horror movies!" I shook her shoulders.

Alya just shook her head with a grin "You'll thank me later Marinette. Now come on, I've already gotten you and Adrien's tickets" she said and walked into the theater hallway, walking into theater 3.

I sighed and Adrien walked up beside me "Are you gonna be okay Marinette?" he asked, a look of concern on his face. I sighed and shrugged "I don't know... I've never been good with horror movies. I just get so scared" I said quietly on the last sentence and sunk my head in frustration. I really didn't want to have a nightmare tonight. I didn't need something keeping me up all night, especially when I have to deal with two lives as Ladybug and as Marinette, which is exhausting enough.

Adrien's P.O.V

I looked over at Marinette as she sunk her head. Poor Marinette. She had no idea about this. I felt really bad.

I smiled and then wrapped my arm around her shoulder. She looked up at me and I could notice her turn red and then turn back to the ground. I chuckled. She's so adorable.

"You'll be okay Marinette. I promise" I said reassuringly. She looked back up and me and smiled "T-thanks Adrien" she said. I had decided to keep my arm on her shoulder as we got up to our seats and then she sat down next to Alya who was next to Nino. I didn't want Marinette so stay by herself, I knew Alya and Nino would be too caught up with each other to comfort Marinette.

I took my arm off of her and sat down next to her and the glanced over at her. I noticed she had turned bright red, I could even notice through the dark theater room. I smiled and then the movie was about to start.

I looked over at Marinette and could see her shifting her weight on the seat. She was fumbling with her fingers and trying to keep her eyes off of the screen. I looked at her with a sad expression.

I wish I could do something to make her feel comfortable...

Marinette's P.O.V

I was terrified. I had no idea what was going to be in store for me. I hate clowns so much. And this is in the sewers.

Now I know I'm never going into the sewers as Ladybug again.

I looked over at Alya and Nino who were happily enjoying the movie. Alya was resting on Nino's shoulder and Nino had his arm around her, as well as her hand entwined with his.

Then, I looked over at Adrien, who was watching the movie with an expressionless face.

I wonder what he was thinking about.

All of a sudden, there was a jump scare and the clown thing had bitten off a child's arm. A CHILD!

This was literally the worst movie and we've barely gone into it.

I jumped at the scare and covered my eyes in my hands "No way no way no way no no no" I whispered to myself.

All of a sudden, I felt a pair of hands grab mine which were covering my eyes. I looked up to find Adrien staring at me with a concerned look.

"Marinette it's okay. It's just a movie. It isn't real" He said quietly. I gulped and nodded "Y-yeah" I choked out.

Adrien smiled slightly at me before he entwined his fingers in my left hand and then threw his arm over my shoulder, so now we were positioned with me close to him.

My head was now pressed up against the side of his chest and his arm had pulled me a little closer to him. I could feel his body warmth rub off onto me. And he smelt so nice. I felt so...safe.

My lips formed a small smile, but on the inside, I was intentionally screaming my head off.

Adrien's P.O.V

I had brought Marinette close to me so she could feel comforted while the scary scenes were happening... and maybe also because she's so hecking adorable.

I kept Marinette close to me as she jumped at the scares that were happening in the movie.

Soon enough, I could feel her getting less tense in my embrace. I looked down at her and noticed that her eyes were closed. She must have been closing her eyes from one of the scenes.

I looked up at the movie screen except there was no scary scene appearing. I looked back at Marinette and realised that she had fallen asleep. I smiled.

She had moved her position and now had her right hand was wrapped around my torso and she hugged me tightly, like I was a big teddy bear. I grinned and kept my arm around her shoulder, bringing her closer.

She had fallen asleep in my arms throughout the whole movie and I noticed Alya and Nino staring at us with heart eyes. Alya was pretending to squeal and Nino put his thumbs up.

I rolled my eyes, but let off a small smirk and looked down at her and she muffled her face into chest. I definitely felt like a teddy bear to her.

This was quite possibly one of the best days of my life.
