Marinette's P.O.V

"Marinette? Are you okay girl?" Alya asked me as she poked my arm while we stood in the courtyard.

My eyes felt heavy and had dark circles underneath them and my cheeks were slightly red.

"Y-Yeah" I barely spoke to a whisper.

Yesterday, I had confessed my feelings to Adrien Agreste. 

And he rejected me.

He shattered me.

He was in love with somebody else, but still wanted to be friends.

I should have seen it coming if I'm going to be honest. He never showed the same affection I gave him, yet my heart ached for him so much that I was blinded by my love for him that I ended up becoming broken in the end.

"Are you sure? You seem a little... off today" Alya said as she placed a hand on my shoulder with a concerned look on her face. 

It took me a while to process as I didn't get any sleep at all last night, my eye bags beginning to weigh down on my eye lids, causing me to feel slightly dizzy.

"Yeah... I'm okay" I said, shaking my head slightly in an attempt to wake myself up. 

Alya gave me another concerned look, her eyes filling with slight worry.

"Mari you really don't look okay. Do you want me to take you to the Nurse's office?" Alya asked me, looking at me in the eyes. 

"Your eyes are bloodshot girl. I'm taking you to the Nurse's office" she said, beginning to lead me to the Nurse's office. 

I sighed "Alya I'm fine. Honestly. I'm just tired" I tried to explain, slightly lying in the process. 

She didn't take it though.

"Marinette I know for a fact you're not 'just tired'" she said as we walked into the Nurse's office.

I knew I couldn't convince her so I just went with it. 

Alya dropped me off and gave me a soft smile before having to leave for her classes.

I was sitting down on the Nurse's bed, waiting for her to come in. 

Soon enough, she came through the door and spoke. 

"How are you doing Marinette?" she asked, feeling my forehead. 

I took a deep breath and felt my chest tighten, remembering what had happened yesterday and tried holding back the tears/

"I'm fine. Just tired... that's all" I managed to choke out. 

She nodded "You're looking a little uneasy and your temperature is quite warm. I'll send you home just to make sure you don't feel nauseous during your classes" she said as she went over to the phone. 

"Okay" I nodded, rubbing my eyes and taking another deep breath. 

"Are your parents home?" she asked. 

I shook my head "No. They're at a baking convention in Montpellier" I said bluntly. 

She nodded "Okay. I'll see if someone else can take you home" she mentioned and left to do something, probably to get somebody else to take me home. 

I didn't have any family that could take me home, so I didn't know what was going to happen. 

A few minutes later, the Nurse came back in with somebody behind her.

I tilted my head to the side, trying to see who is was. 

The blue hair and Jagged Stone shirt made it obvious that it was Luka.
