Thirty One

Yoongi POV

She fell down on her knees in front of me. Tears fell from her beautiful eyes and the heart wrenching sounds coming from her throat made my insides twist. The sick feeling in my stomach was staying to get to me.

She was genuinely upset. 

She looked heart broken.

It was killing me to see her like this but I was hurt too. 

I thought I was earning her. I thought I was earning the right to love her the way I did and I felt as if she couldn't trust me with this. She said that it was meaningless but then why not tell me?

"...Please Yoongi...please believe me." 

I had to swallow hard. "Why should I?" 

"Because I love you." She sobbed. I felt my entire body go stiff. 

What did she say? 

"I love you so much, I never meant to hurt you. I would n-never hurt you!" she stuttered. I started to realize that her entire body was shaking, and it was getting hard for her to speak but she kept going. "I'm so sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Please Yooni...please don't leave me." 

She broke down and her head fell back into her arms before she was curling over on the floor in front of me. I was in such a state of shock it took me a second to really think about what was happening in front of my eyes. 

The woman I love and adore, is on her knees in front of me baring her soul. She is begging for me to not leave her. She's scared. She's scared to lose me. 

Her heart is breaking. 

She doesn't want to lose me because she loves me. 

She loves me. 

She said she loves me. 

That's when I snapped out of my trance and hustled down on my knees in front of her. I lifted her head so I could look at her, and her eyes were dripping in tears, red rimmed and her nose was a little runny. She had a small mark on her bottom lip from biting down on it so hard, and I felt my heart break. 

"I'm so sorry Yoonig. I should have told you. I just...I just..." 

"Shhh." I cooed to her and moved my hands to around her waist. I pulled her so that she was straddling my lap and I was sitting on the ground. She clung to me tighter than she ever had. And I felt her body shake violently from her sobs. I rubbed her back trying to soothe her. I couldn't bear to see her this way. "It's okay." I whispered. "Calm down, baby." 

"It's not okay." She hickuped in my ear. She didn't loosen her grip on me but I could hear her broken words in my ear. "You are right. You have worked so hard to be a good man to me and I am so lucky to have you love me. I should have told you sooner that I loved you. I thought you knew but I never said it and I'm so sorry. I'm sorry for not telling you about Hoseok, and I'm sorry I made you doubt yourself. I'm so sorry." 

"Noona, calm down." 

"I just love you so much." She replied burying her face into my neck. I could feel her tears hit my skin and drip down my chest. "I am the worst. What kind of woman makes her man feel that worthless. I'm so sorry Yoongi, I don't deserve you but please." She started to sob harder at this point and I stopped moving my hand just wrapping my arms around her and keeping her close. "Please don't leave me. I swear there is nothing else. Nothing." 

"Y/N I wasn't going to leave you. I never want to leave you." I said in a low calm voice trying to get her to settle. "I understand now." 

"Please believe me. I love you so much, I can't lose you."
