Thursday, 29th February

Your probs wondering y I'm a, writing in text speak , writing on a day that doesn't exist. Well, I'm lazy and cbb to write properly, also, today, 29th Feb on a leap year, is my birthday.
In actual fact I'm 18, but due to the fact I was born on a stupid leap year, I'm really only 4, lol. This morning was great.
(boring bit 💤) so I woke and started texting my mum, shes in New York with my step dad, Tom. The text convo went a bit like this:
Mum: Morning birthday girl!!
Me: thanks mum, can I stay off school today, as its my only birthday for the next 4 years??
Mum: No cheeky! But if you come into the living room I asked nan to put something out for you! 😝
Me: kay, thx mum!!
And then I locked my phone and got out of bed, I doubted nan would be up yet so I put on some old ripped jeans and went to the kitchen to get some food. I was right, nan had fallen asleep on the sofa, like yesterday. I contemplated moving her, but decided against it, she looked to comfortable. I crept past her and sat on the kitchen floor. I leaned against one of the cupboards and stared at the ceiling. I let out a deep sigh and started to let the tears slide gracefully down my cheeks. I spent a bit of time on insta looking thru photos from mum and Tom, i saw a photo of my mums left hand, with an engagement ring. I decided to like the photo and leave a nice comment. I posted: well don't mjm, best wishes for both of you xx
My phone pinged again, it was a message from Harrison, I was tempted to text him asking him how he go my number for the millionth time but when I read the message, it seemed Important. It was on one of the chats we had so itust of been him trying to get my attention

Haz: did u guys here Tom proposed to Emily??
Zendaya: yh, there such a cute couple 😍
                       Me: yh, mums crazy   
                       about him so       
                       suddenly, any of u  
                       guys know y?

Haz: u do know that he rlly wants to get to u thru Ur mum, right?
                        Me: no 😥
       Idk why I started to panic after jaz text that on the chat, I mean, he had fallen for my mum. Besides, I'm only 16. I'm underage, he can't date me, surely. Maybe not tho....
