**Set the scene: You work at a popular event center which is hosting a charity concert featuring some of today's hottest artists including 5SOS and Harry Styles. You're part of a group of runners that set up the dressing rooms and cater to the talent depending on where your supervisor has assigned you. You've unfortunately been assigned to be a food runner, essentially meaning you are set up with a cart at one end of the hallway and all of the individual talent runners bring you the list of whatever they may need from food services located on the other side of the stage (meaning you have to drive your little cart around the backside of the stages to collect the items and then drive back to your section of dressing rooms**
~Toward the end of the concert~
"Okay, last chance, does anyone else need anything from food services before I take off, I think its the last run for the night before the kitchen closes," you say as you walk up the hallway so everyone can hear you. "Yeah can you get some more fruit for 2B?", Jake asks you as you walk by. "Of course," you reply, jotting it down on the notepad in your hand.
No one else seems to need anything, or they haven't heard you. Just to be sure you say a bit louder(but not so loud as to potentially disturb any talent that may be in their rooms), "Going once, going twice..." You look around. "Okay, I'll be right back," you say again, seemingly to no one.
You start up the golf cart and begin to head down the corridor when you hear "Hey, can I get a lift?!" from behind you. You look back to see HARRY FREAKING STYLES walking up to the passenger side of the cart. **Okay, be cool, be professional, he's just another guy** you think to yourself.
He stands on the side of the cart, looking pointedly at you. *Talk dammit!* "Oh, yeah of course, hop on," you say, giving him a small smile. "Thanks," he replied as he sat down. "I love your pants", he said, tapping two fingers on your thigh. *internal screaming*
"Thanks, found them at Goodwill for less than 5 bucks" you say a little too excitedly, knowing already that you were smiling like a crazy person back at him as he chuckled. (But honestly, you NEVER saw decent flared, almost bell bottom, jeans anywhere, so to find them in a thrift store in the right size! Unheard of, and worth all the excitement). "So are you needing to go back to the stage? If you forgot something Olivia could have gotten it for you."
"She had to go home early actually, I didn't want to make a big deal about it because I already had everything I needed, and I didn't want her to get in trouble or something just for having an emergency, ya know," he replied. "And I didn't forget anything, I just told my friends I'd listen to them backstage so we could all hangout after their set".
"Okay, well this is my last run to food services for the night, and after that I'm just scheduled to kind of float until cleanup later tonight, if you need anything I'll just stick close to your room until then?", you said this as more of a question than a statement, giving another shy smile.
"Yeah, that'd be great. Well, this is my stop, I can walk from here. Thanks for the ride", he said as he grabbed your right hand and kissed the top of it *Jesus Christ CALM DOWN* you think as you try to keep a normal, totally non-creepy smile on your face as you watched him walk toward the stairs that would take him to the backstage area.
