Lloyd spent all night trying to make an escape. Bathroom. Water. Phone call. None of his excuses were good enough.
By now he was irritated and tired and he just wanted to be left alone in a dark, quiet place. He zoned out until Morro snapped in his face to get his attention.
"You already look like you're on shit." He commented.
"I'm not." Lloyd grumbled.
"Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed?"
"I need to get in bed."
Morro put a hand on Lloyd's shoulder. "You have later on to do that."
Lloyd shifted uncomfortably. "I need it now."
"Will you be able to sleep with all this noise?" He got distracted and started making a motion with his hands as if he was playing a guitar and head-banging along to the music.
"Well..." Lloyd trailed off.
"Exactly. So what's the point? Have some fuuun." He handed his empty drink cup to Lloyd and swung an arm around his shoulders.
"I don't want this." Lloyd bluntly stated.
"It's empty."
"So throw it away."
Morro squinted. "Are you telling me what to do?" He removed his arm from Lloyd's shoulder and forcefully grabbed his chin to move his head so he was looking at him. "If so, I'm going to tell you right now that nobody tells me what to do."
"No, nevermind, it's nothing." Lloyd backed up a little.
"Good." Just like that Morro was back to normal. Just waiting for another sudden mood swing to happen again.
He started to walk over to the table again to fill up his cup again when he looked back at Lloyd. "Let's go."
"I'm supposed to just follow you around?" Lloyd questioned.
He waved his cup in the air and winked. "Get it before it's gone."
Lloyd pushed past everyone in his way to get back to Morro. "Will you leave me alone if I do?"
Morro stopped dead in his tracks and turned around. He smirked. "Oh honey, no one could leave somebody like you alone."
Weirdly creeped out, Lloyd scratched his arm. He didn't know what to say. What did he mean by that?
Morro still had his smirk on. "You aren't getting the hint are you?"
"Hint? What hint?" Lloyd asked.
"Review what I said."
"You said no one could leave someone like me alone." After repeating it, then it hit him. "Ohhh..."
Morro laughed. "You're such a weirdo." He cupped Lloyd's face and winked again. "But a cute one."
Lloyd pushed him away. "Knock it off."
"I'm just messing with you."
"Don't."
"You're a killjoy." Morro turned back around and went back to where he was originally headed.
Lloyd was grumbling to himself when a girl in a pink dress approached him.
"Hey~" she slurred.
Lloyd could smell the alcohol on her breath. Gross.
"Uh...Hi...?"
She already had her hands all over him. "You're pretty cute...What's your name?" She asked.
"Lloyd." He said awkwardly.
"Ooh!" She tripped a little.
"Careful..."
"Have a drink with me, Lloyd!"
"Uh...No..." he paused. One way to escape Morro. "You know what. Sure."
