"So, what does this mean?" Kai looked at Morro outside of the dorm building. 

"What does it mean?" Morro questioned. 

"Are we cool?" 

Lloyd looked at Morro, expecting an answer for Kai's question. 

"I don't expect anything to have changed." Morro squinted. 

Kai frowned. 

"Soo, stay the fuck away from me, thanks, bye." Morro went inside the building. 

Lloyd blinked. Kai looked at Lloyd. "That went well."

"He's soft at heart, he'll change his mind." Lloyd grinned. 

"Are you gonna be okay? If he does anything to hurt you, I'll end him!" Kai punched his hand to demonstrate. 

"I'll be okay, Kai, thank you." Lloyd gave Kai a hug. Kai hugged back. 

"Hey, what's your number? Want me to add you to our group chat?"

"Yeah!" Lloyd typed his number into Kai's phone he had handed over. He sent himself a text so he could add Kai's number to his phone. 

"Catch ya later!" Kai gave a peace sign and went inside. Lloyd followed him and they went to their respective dorms. 

Lloyd grabbed his key and unlocked the door, going inside. He instantly was overwhelmed with loud screaming and guitar. Morro must be in the shower again. He shook his head. His mother would have had a heart attack if Lloyd were ever to do that. 

Speaking of, it had been some time since they talked. Lloyd pulled out his phone and typed in Misako's number, which he knew by heart. She picked up after a couple rings. 

"Lloyd, honey, hi!" She exclaimed. 

"Hi, mom! How are you?"

"Things are okay, I miss you bunches."

"I miss you too, mom. I'll come see you soon!"

"Oh, be careful driving down here!"

"Of course!" Lloyd rolled his eyes with a smile. 

"How are your classes, hun?" 

"Hard!" Lloyd exclaimed. "I already have so much work."

"Is there any I could help with?" Misako offered. 

"I don't think so. You're a history nerd, mom!" Lloyd laughed. Misako laughed back. 

"What's that noise in the background?" Misako questioned. Morro had turned his music up. Morro was listening to Dir en Grey. The Japanese band was...Loud. Lloyd watched a video on Youtube about them. Of course Morro listened to them! Right up his alley. 

"Oh," Lloyd grumbled, covering the mouth piece quickly while he moved farther away from the bathroom. "My roommate! He's a disaster!" 

"I'm sorry, Lloyd, but don't worry. I believe you will make it work."

"Thanks mom, I'll try to manage." 

"You aren't doing any drugs, right Lloyd?" Misako worriedly asked. 

"No! No way! No parties, either." Lloyd fibbed. It was only a little lie...

"That's my boy." Misako praised. A loud knock on the wall came from the bathroom, like someone smacked into it.

"Uhh, mom, he's being reckless, I better go." 

"Be careful!" Misako said. "I love you!" they both said before hanging up. 

Lloyd went over to the bathroom and knocked. No answer. He knocked harder. Then the door opened a little. Morro poked his head out, his wet hair dripping onto the floor. "What?" he asked. 

"What was that sound?" 

"A shelf." Morro said awkwardly.

"A shelf." Lloyd repeated.

"It fell! It was not my fault." Morro squinted. 

Lloyd squinted back. "What?? How?"

"Heavy shit on it!" Morro exclaimed. 

"Let me see." Lloyd crossed his arms. 

"No!"

"Why."

"I'm...Naked."

"Naked enough to break things!? I know you're lying! That was not the sound of a shelf falling."

"How do you know?" Morro scowled.

"What are you even doing in there?" Lloyd sighed. 

"Showering." Morro averted his gaze. 

"That's it?" 

"N-Yes!"

"Uh-huh." Lloyd didn't believe him. 

"Go away!" Morro slammed the door. Lloyd got his inquisitive nature from his mother. And like a mother does, they snoop.
