The Stupid Rules of SIN

Part 6

Lauren avoided Sean for 5 weeks after the steamy night they had together. It wasn't because she was pissed off at him, rather she felt embarrassed. She thought Sean had seen her at her most vulnerable moment and he wasn't the one she wanted to loose her virginity to. Lauren had agreed to marry Sean because her parents vowed that she can divorce him after 5 years of marriage if she was still unhappy. She got married at age 19 and figured 5 years is not that long. She would still be young, secure her share of her inheritance ( that her father used to cajole her to marry Sean) and move to Europe to pursue her dream of becoming a top fashion designer.

Faith had other plans for Lauren, because she got pregnant from that one night with Sean. She started experiencing morning sickness and realized it hasn't had a period in almost 7 weeks. She bought the test and confirmed it. She was in such disbelief, that she took the test 5 TIMES!!! "... wtf, I'm pregnant just on my first time!!!". Lauren first thought was to abort it " no way I am getting trapped to this man!! My life is ruined".
That evening when she arrived from work, he was determined to break the ice with Lauren. " she had sex with her HUSBAND!!!... why is she mopping about that".... I was shook to find out she was a virgin. Nowadays, girls her age I've had several boyfriends. Apart of Sean was happy he was Lauren's first. On his way home, he vowed to try his best to make Lauren fall for him. He bought her a bucket of roses and a brand new Chanel purse. " this should get her in good graces with me ( smiling to himself).

"Lauren!!! I'm home!!! How about we have a date night? Huh?... This house it big, but she can't avoid me for ever!!". Sean walked through the house looking for his wife, she was no where to be found. He went into her room, then knock on her bathroom door. He opened the door, only to find rows of pregnancies tests on he bathroom sink. " Lauren is PREGNANT... (gasp)". Reality sunk in, " Omg!! I am going to be a father. He was so over joyed and he got teary eyes, and kept repeating "... I am going to be a FATHER!!!."
Lauren returned home in the evening, she had booked an appointment for an abortion for the following day. She figured she's the only one that knows and it's her body and she has the right to decide. She was surprised when she open the door to Sean grinning from ear to ear. He handed her the roses, and it appeared he had prepared diner for them. This was a bit out of character but she presumes he was lending and olive branch

Sean figures he would prepare a lovely diner and extend the olive branch. He promised to make amends with his wife so they can build a happy home for the unborn child. " how was your day honey?" Lauren almost choked on her water when she hear that "... what is wrong with him, first roses, then diner now this...😒".
"Oh I almost forgot, I got you a gift"... He handed her the Chanel purse, she smiled and said "What is the occasion ?" Sean was hoping Lauren would bring up the pregnancy but she didn't. The diner was almost over and Lauren was acting nonchalantly. It appears, she was not planning on telling him her presumed. So he decided to bring up test that he found in her room. " hun... are you pregnant?"... Lauren spat out the water she was drink," how how, huh... W-what!!!, did you go into my ROOM? Are you monitoring my every move?" ... Sean - " oh no!!! Hun I was looking for you this afternoon and I just happened to stumble on the test.... WAIT!!! You wasn't planning on telling me?"
"No... because I'm getting an abortion". Sean-  " (wild eyes 👀 and in disbelief)... you was going to kill my CHILD!!! Without even telling me??? Don't you think I have a say in this matter".  Lauren- "(calm an unbothered by Sean's concerns)... NOPE! It's my body and I have the right to do what I want with it!!"
Sean all teary eye, " you are EVIL Lauren.You would not kill my child. I'll hire a bodyguard to be with you henceforth. You are having my CHILD!!!" The following day Sean called both his and Lauren's parents. They talked to Lauren and promised to grant her wish for divorce if she had the baby.
~ Court House
Sean was granted sole custody of Rebel. He wanted a fresh start in life. He quit working for his father's and opened up his own firm 4 hours from the city, in the suburbs. He wanted to raise Rebel in a place where the lifestyle was not too hectic. He family pleaded with him to stay in the city so they can lend a hand with Rebel. He refused and stated he had already hired a great Nanny for him. That day at the court house at 8 months old, was the last time that Rebel was in his mother's presence. Frankly, when Sean moves o the suburbs, he cut ties with Rebels mothers relatives. In fact if he could erase them from Sharing DNA with his son he would.
~ Hess Family 8 months after birth of Jewel
Mr. Hess moves his family from the city to the suburbs. Business was going well. He opened a chain of restaurants and was looking into investing into real estate. He wanted to get into the hotel business as well. They moved to a very family friendly neighborhood, in a house with a big yard for the kids. Life was good and baby Jewel was growing at a rapid rate. In fact, he appear to grow more beautiful with every passing day. He was so pretty that sometimes Mrs. Hess would dress him up as a got to go grocery shopping. Often she would here, ... " awww, what a pretty girl you got there". She would smile and not correct them. Mr. Hess didn't like that and told his wife he doesn't want their son be confused for a girl.
A few months later, the house across from them was sold. The gossip in the neighborhood, was that it was bought by a lawyer who was a single dad. Mrs. Hess - " I have to admit, it is rare to see a single Father... Did the wife pass away?". " Hun, I don't know that much all I heard from the Wilson was that he comes from a very prominent family". Mrs Hess, " I'll take a pie tomorrow when they arrive, if we are going to be neighbors we should get to know them". Rhythm runs into the kitchen, " omg!!! Mom you making PIE!!!  Yum yummy!!!". They all laughed out loud. There's never a dull moment with this kid.
