Jewel's POV
It was almost 7pm when we arrived at my house. Lyric's car was not in the garage, so I knew for a fact that he would not return today. Since he hates driving during rush hour.Rhythm would not get home until later on in the night. We truly have the place to ourselves. This is it Jewel, be brave, take a leap of faith. I smiled to myself as I thought about how to tell Rebel. Rebel kept looking down at me and also smiling. Once we got inside the house I grabbed us some paper plates for the pizza. Rebel was awfully quiet during our walk home, so I decided to break the silence ... "Hey, Eva the sophomore from the dance team asked me for your number today..." I teasingly said, but he didn't give me his normal response , which is "what can I say, I'm good looking". Instead, he shyly looked away and said "I'm not interested".... Wait a minute did he just blush lol. "So what exactly is your type Rebel? I've witnessed you turned down girl after girl"... he stared at me for a moment then answered, "None I've peaked my interest". Hmmm, so what is his type.
Rebel's POV.
While Ju is busy asking questions about my type, I'm over here wondering how to bring up the topic of me liking him. He came to sit next to me in the living room, " ... hey Ju, how come you never asked any girl out?...they seem to approach you with ease"... He looked at me, a bit confused then said, " I'm not their TYPE". What does he mean, he is not their TYPE. He is very handsome, some would even describe him as beautiful. He is not as tall as me but average for a guy. He got a great personality, always making me laugh why won't any girl... scratch that anyOne not find him attractive?
Jewels POV
Rebel's reaction when I said, "I'm not their type" was that of a mother who couldn't believe others don't think their child is perfect Hahahaha. " Hey Rebel... I'm not their type because I'm Gay!"... I looked at him for a reaction, instead he grabbed my hands and asked, "How long have you known?" Smiling  from how calm and gentle he was being I knew this was the time. It's either now or never, it's time to take a leap of faith. " I've known since elementary school... in fact, there is a guy I've liked... ummm more like LOVE all my life"... he grasped my wrist tightly, it actually hurt a bit. He suddenly looked mad after I said that. I tried to yank my hand but he was stronger than me. He yelled, " who the HELL do you love!! Huh! Have you been seeing someone be behind my BACK!!!"... W-what!! What does he mean behind his BACK! Why so possessive? Is Rebel getting jealous?
Rebel's POV
All this while he was seeing another guy. I need to find out who this punk is... "Hey!!! You are hurting me". Upon hearing Ju say that I came to a realization of how strong my hold was on him. I loosen my grip and look him in the eye, " I like you Ju!!!Why would you allow another guy touch you!!!"... he looked confused when I said that. Hold up, did I just confess to Jewel!  I was experiencing mix emotions, I don't know why I was acting like a jealous boyfriend whose partner was cheating. I startle Ju too because he was now staring at me with his lips quivering. I guess he was not thinking of me in that light, even though he was gay. I let go of him and reached for my books. "I'm sorry, I'm going home".
Jewel's POV
Why is he's so upset, I was a bit scared because I've never seen a mad and possessive Rebel before. And what was it that he just said!!! "Seeing someone behind HIS back!!" I snapped out of my daze when I caught his last sentence that he's going home. I pulled on his shirt and before I could even think, I planted my lips on his and kissed him.  We both froze in that position, and for a moment time stopped. Once I realized what I've done, I tried to pull away but he wrapped me by the waist and deepened the kiss. Omg!!! He kissed me with so much hunger.
Rebel's POV
Once Jewel kissed me I lost all sense of control. I unleashed everything I've been bottling up  to the surface. I grabbed him by the waist and deepened our kiss. I'm glad he initiated it because I loss courage when he told me he've loved a guy since elementary school. I devoured his lips like my life depended on it. We moved to the couch where I looked him in the eyes and demanded , " who is the guy?"
Jewel's POV
WAIT!!! Why is he asking that at this very moment! Oh lord I got a jealous man on my hand. When I didn't respond right away, he grabbed me by my jaw to get me to look him in the eyes. "You are mine!!! You hear me!??"... I felt like this was a different guy, he is not the gentle sweet guy from 30 minutes ago. He was hot and scary simultaneously.He shoved his tongue in and proceeded to unbutton my shirt. Unlike, Rebel I'm quite inexperienced. Kissing him today was my my first kiss and I felt things were moving a bit too fast.
Rebel POV
"Jewel...", I whispered in his ear. " you haven't answered me yet... I said I LIKE you". Instead of answering, he pulled me in for more kisses, I pulled him away and demanded an answer " Jewel!!! I need a response from you". He giggled and said, " why, the kiss was not a good enough answer?" Is he teasing me!!! Right now Lol. Why the hell is he so alluring. Did the other guy see this side of him too. The thought alone was pissing me off again.Who could that guy be? I'm always with him. Then I remembered what the senior who followed us home said. So I looked Jewel in the eyes, " ... is it Marcus? Is he the guy who you've loved all your life ,huh!!"
Jewel's POV
He still haven't figured it out, I rolled my eyes when he said Marcus name. " No!! He is you, you dense ASSHOLE!. I've always liked..,actually LOVED you". He's the only person I've known all my life. He smiled widely and said, "good...and I'll be the last one". (Possessive much 🙄).We proceeded to make out on the couch. I felt my phone vibrate but didn't pay it no mind (perhaps I should have because the outcome was one that changed trajectory of Rebel and I new found love).
" JEWEL!!! I hope my eyes is deceiving me boy!!...what the FUCK.." ..holy SHIT! Lyric is home...
