Rose pov:
I wake up slowly and it felt like I was ten again. Waking up to the hot weather in November and the box fan running. I missed Arizona so much and my parents.
Yet it's different I'm pregnant and I'm not ten anymore and my boyfriend is not in the bed with me. What in the hell. I hear a scream. I get up getting my robe on and run downstairs.
"Robert!" My mother yells
"Mother, hey sorry we didn't get in till one thirty five and you were asleep you and dad and well I just let myself in, and I knew the alarm code." I say
"Honey, who is this man?" Mother asked
"My boyfriend, Christian." I say
"Oh shit, I'm sorry son." She says putting the broom down.
My father comes downstairs, with one of the bats Dugie designed.
"What in the hell did you yell for women?" My father asked
"Robert I forgot they were coming in." She says
"Cleo doesn't mean bring a broom." He says
"You brought a bat, that Alexander designed." Mother says
"HEY, it's nice to be home and all but can I have your amazing pancakes mother please?" I asked
"Oh yes of course sweetie good morning and welcome to our home Christian." Mother says
He laughs.
"Wait honey you're dating a Brewer?" My father asked
"Yeah, dad a mvp." I say
Dad sets his hand out for our handshake.
"That's my girl." He says giving my head a kiss "Yelich, nice to meet you and good season."
