"Look, Damian I love you, I really do but right now isn't the time. If we go public with our relationship, even if it's just to the rest of the team we'll throw off the whole team dynamics, and I don't think we can afford to do that right now." Raven said straining as she maintained a shield around them as H.I.V.E agents shot at them.
"I see.... you have a point beloved, now do you have any ideas for dealing with these idiots?" Damian asked her glaring out of the shield at their attackers. She nodded and asked,
"You go low, I go high?" He grinned and nodded, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek before she pushed the shield out, pushing the H.I.V.E back and lowering it abruptly as she flew up and sent a massive ray of darkness through some of them. As soon as she had dropped her shield Damian exploded out from it attacking the agents with a primal savagery that, considering his usual level of control, was more befitting of Beast Boy. It took the Titans less than a minute to finish off their opponents and radio in.
"This is Robin, we've taken care of our sector, going to the rendezvous point."
"Acknowledged, Blue Beatle and Wonder Girl are already en route, try to meet up with them in advance if at all possible." Nightwing responded over the comms. Damian relayed the message to Raven and they headed off, picking their way through the maze of unconscious adversaries.
"So, what do you suggest we tell the others if they ask about our newfound.......closeness?" He asked nonchalantly as the two of them walked through the halls.
"Well we could-" she broke off as a squad of soldiers. The two of them prepared to fight when they heard a loud voice shout,
"Mrasid dna kconk tuo!" Suddenly all of their opponents weapons shot up into the air and smacked themselves into the heads of their owners. The soldiers fell to the ground and revealed a young woman dressed in what appeared to be a coat and tails. She looked at the two Titans, still prepped for a fight, with a playful smile dancing on her lips and a hand resting confidently on her hip. She looked between them and crossed her arms in front of her saying,
"Aqualad told me to come get you, we need to talk."
