3rd POV
Earth-16

Zatanna sat bolt upright breathing heavily. Her eyes scrambled around the room trying desperately to get her bearings.
"Whoa, whoa Zatanna! Calm down it's alright, you're safe now." Robin exclaimed gently gripping her shoulders. She took deep, heaving breaths before settling back, her panic somewhat subsided. She reached out and gripped his uniform hoarsely whispering, "Raven......" He smiled and nodded.
"Don't worry, she woke up a few minutes ago, she's fine. Damian took her to get something to eat. " He comforted her trying to get her to lie down.
"No... you.... don't get it.....Raven she-" Her protests were cut off as a certain empath came hurrying into the room, Damian close behind her.
"Zatanna! Are you alright? I'm so sorry for putting you through all that!" She exclaimed hugging her. Zatanna hugged her back, a small smile working it's way onto her face.
"It's not your fault, you couldn't help it." She said smiling fondly.
"Raven told us everything that happened, we're really glad you're alright." Robin said concern and excitement filling his tone.
"Yes, it's impressive that you were able to keep Raven from being harmed during a direct encounter with The Witch Boy." Damian admitted, sounding grateful. Zatanna froze, pulling away from the hug. When she threw Raven a questioning look she was met with a cruel and gleeful gaze. She jolted back, trying to get as far away as possible.
"Is something wrong?" Robin asked sounding concerned. Raven surreptitiously raised a finger to her lips and Zatanna, who was now shaking with fear said, "N-no, I'm just a little sore is all." He nodded and helped her lie down.
"We need to get going soon, Klarion won't stay in the same place for long." Raven said seriously as Damian and Robin nodded. Zatanna sat upright looking concerned.
"Where are you going? I thought we'd need everyone on the mission." She said frowning. Raven once again shot her a twisted smile and Robin said, "Raven told us where you found Klarion, she said he was preforming some sort of ritual so if we go now we might be able to get him pinned down." Zatanna's eyes widened and she stood suddenly.
"NO!" She exclaimed terror clear in her tone. They all stared at her in shock as she scrambled to form an explanation for her outburst.
"Y-you guys should let me come with you, I might know what kind of thing his ritual is for....." she said feebly and both Robin and Damian exchanged a questioning look. Damian nodded and said, "Raven could heal her, we should consult Starfire-" Robin cut him off with a coughed out "*cough* Aqualad *cough*" and Damian corrected himself.
"I mean Aqualad, force of habit." Raven and Robin both nodded and the three of them walked out as Raven shot Zatanna one last look before closing the door behind her. Zatanna, ignoring her injuries, made her way on autopilot to the souvenir room where she found herself in an increasingly uncomfortable position.
"Um....... Wally, Artemis whaaaat are you doing....?" She asked drawing out the words as she tried to look at anything but, the now burning red, faces of her teammates. Wally's back was pressed against the shelved covered wall with Artemis' arms were resting on the shelves behind him, pinning him in place. They glanced at each other then back at Zatanna before jumping into separate sides of the room and pretending to inspect the items on the shelves.
"Did I just interrupt something? Because if I did I could totally come back later....." Zatanna said still standing awkwardly in the doorway. Artemis gave a choked laugh and said, "I-interrupt something? Between me and Wally? Haha Haha no way! I was just um...." she paused for a moment as Wally quickly grabbed something off of the shelf in front of him and tossed it to her.
"Here's the um.... thing you were trying to grab....." he said awkwardly as she caught the arrow he'd just thrown at her out of the air.
"Right! My um... lucky arrow, from my first mission...." Artemis said sounding equally awkward. Zatanna chuckled to herself and picked up a yellow crystal off of a shelf. Wally and Artemis stopped looking at their respective shelves and shared a concerned look before moving to stand near their friend. Artemis placed a hand on her shoulder and asked, "Fighting Klarion again must be hard.... do you want to talk about it?" Zatanna nodded and wiped away the tears that were threatening to fall.
"The last time I saw Klarion I lost my father..... and this time I think I might have lost one of my closest friends." She said returning the crystal to the shelf and burying her head in her hands as Wally and Artemis hugged her from either side and shared another concerned look.
"What do you mean, 'lost one of my closest friends'?" Artemis asked Zatanna wiped her eyes again and looked between the two of them.
"I didn't protect Raven from Klarion, in fact I didn't even get to fight him. Raven she-" Zatanna was cut off as Roquel's voice called from the doorway.
"There you guys are-! Whoa Zatanna, are you alright? I mean.... emotionally, not physically that questions already been answered." Zatanna sighed and nodded.
"Come on, let's get you to Raven so she can heal you." Roquel said reaching out to her. Zatanna shook her head and said, "Leave it to me, I can heal myself." Then she stepped into the middle of the room called, "Laeh ym sdnuow dna egnahc ym sehtolc!" After a bright flash Wally, Artemis, and Roquel looked at Zatanna who was standing in the middle of the room with her wounds fully healed and dressed in a new uniform.
