The Team

AN: Advanced warning, this chapter  is going to be set up kinda differently. It's going to be sort of a split screen kinda deal, alternating between Robin and Artemis' team and Raven and Zatanna (teams I like to call Team Shadows and Team Mage😁)!

3rd POV
Earth-16

Zatanna and Raven walked along an ominous looking grove on Roanoke island.
"Ugh... I hate this place, it always gives me the creeps, and that's coming from someone who was raised around magic, good and bad." Zatanna said rubbing her arms with a grimace. Raven nodded looking over at her new friend.
"This place creeps me out too, and that's coming from a girl who was partially raised in Hell." She replied with a shudder. The two of them shared a look then broke into quite laughter. Zatanna was the first to recover. She turned to Raven and said,
"Hey... there's something that I'd been meaning to ask you."
(Meanwhile)
Artemis and Damian were walking in silence until Artemis took a deep breath and said,
"Ok, this has been bothering me for a little while."

Both Artemis and Zatanna took a deep breath and asked,
"What's going on with you and Raven/Damian?" The Titans jumped slightly and a momentary look of surprise crossed their features. However their faces immediately smoothed out into their normal, passive expressions. In passive tones they responded, "That's none of your business/ I don't know what you're talking about."

Zatanna laughed quietly and said, "Oh come on! It's obvious! The secret smiles, the inconspicuous glances, not to mention you two were clearly holding hands when I saw you in the hallway. " Raven flinched and sighed lowering her hood.
"Alright, if it's that obvious, Damian just.... he means a lot to me and even though he knew what I was he's never doubted that I was good, it's more than I can say for myself....." She said looking down as a soft smile played on her lips.
"Can I be the maid of honor at your wedding?" Zatanna asked raising an eyebrow. Raven choked back a laugh and said, "I think you're getting ahead of yourself but if it happens then yeah, sure. "

Artemis stopped in her tracks and Damian followed suit.
"Take it from me ninja boy, keeping secrets from your team only gets you in trouble. If you love her that's great but you shouldn't hide it from everyone, it'll just make them less likely to trust you." She said seriously with sadness hiding behind her eyes.
"I don't understand how it's-" Damian's retort was cut off by the sound of Raven and Zatanna screaming through the psychic link.
"SHIT!" The two of them yelled looking at each other wide eyed.
