The Ferris Wheel

Y/N's P.O.V 

Mark pinched my cheeks.
I had never been so shocked yet flattered at the same time.

We then looked for Ashley and Johnny but we couldn't find them anywhere.
About probably 30 minutes of looking for the two, Mark and I decided to rest for a bit.
We found ourselves under the ferris wheel again.

"Hey Mark, I'm tired lets go sit down and relax for a moment."

"Sure, and umm.. Hey wait here I have a better idea."

Mark left me underneath the ferris wheel and he went off somewhere. I wasn't in the mood to catch up so I sat on the nearest bench.

After a while, Mark came back, two tickets on hand.

"Mark what are the tickets for?"

"You said you wanted to relax right? I thought riding the ferris wheel would help. Come on "

He dragged me to the entrance of the ferris wheel and we waited in line.
Luckily there wasn't too much people at the time. We gave the guy our two tickets then we went inside.

The ride was very slow since the ferris wheel was big. So I had the time to look out and enjoy the view.
From afar, I saw the ice skating rink and it changed my mood very quickly.

Mark noticed me zoning out while looking out the window.

"Hey y/n. What's wrong? You're thinking about Jaemin are you?"

Those last words of him snapped me back to reality from my little daydreaming session going on.

"y/nnnn I know what you're thinkinnggg"

"Ok, how could you tell it was Jaemin huhh"

"Well, first you're in a bad mood after going to the ice skating rink a while ago and second you're literally staring at it."

"Well, you're not wrong"

Mark is a little more clever that I thought.

"Mind telling me what happened?"

Mark asked. I know its weird just opening up to someone about your hopeless love life but I had the urge to tell him. And so I did.

"Well, when we were skating, I left Jaemin for a second and the next thing I saw is him flirting with some bunch of pretty girls out of nowhere and even pretended that he doesn't know me. I mean, you know I like him alot right? Maybe I am just not as pretty as those girls that he liked."

"Well, I think you're way prettier than those girls. You know being pretty is on the inside. Always"

Mark's words touched my heart more than I thought it would. I couldn't help but tear up in front of him.

Then the next thing I felt was arms so caring wrapping around me and everything around me paused as the embrace makes me feel a hundred times better.

At times like this I usually push away but I really needed a hug right now so I melted in Mark's arms.

Little did we know, we were almost down.

Both of us pulled out from each other and I thought that the next thing would be awkward as hell but the view I saw was just Mark smiling genuinely.

"Hey, thanks, I really needed some support"

"Anytime y/n"

And then the constructor opened the door for us and we headed out.
Surprisingly, Ashley, Johnny along with Jaemin was standing by the ferris wheel too. They of coarse noticed us heading down from the ride.

"There you guys are!"
Ashley exclaimed while running towards us.

"What were you two doing in the ferris wheel together  "
Johnny said being the nosy guy he is.

"y/n needed some time to reflect so I took her there."
Mark explained for us.

I couldn't help but notice Jaemin at the back. He was looking down and was constantly gazing at us as if he wanted to say something.

"H-hey y/n can I talk to you?"
Jaemin said.
