Y/N'S P.O.V.

After that fun carousel ride it was already dark. So of coarse we all decided to go home.
Jaemin went to his way home and Johnny dropped Mark off his stop on the way.

When we got home I made my way passed the living room still a little messy from last night and I went to plop myself into my bed. And then, I got a message.

Oh how sweet.. I should reply right?

And so I did.

Did he..? Just ask me out on a date?

Out of panic..

"ASHLEYYYY!!!"
I exclaimed out loud because i didn't know what to do..

"Y/n?! Are you okay?"

"Yeah but.. I have a question.."

"Ask away"

"If a boy like.. Asked me to go out without actually saying that its a date.. Is it actually a date?"

"Pff of coarse it is. Why? Whose that dude huh? Is it Jaeminnnnn"

"Well yeah."

"Y/n! He's like the love of your life ! Go for it !!"

Well, I guess I have a date tomorrow..

8:40 AM

I woke up a little earlier than usual.
I went out to the kitchen to make breakfast for Ashley and Johnny but unfortunately they woke up before me.
Ashley already cooked bacon and pancakes and Johnny was already finished eating and is on his way to his work.
I took a plate and ate but I just can't get over the fact that I am going on a date with my childhood crush.

I finished my breakfast and I got myself ready. I tried my best to look really pretty just for today. I wore a white turtle necked top and a black short skirt, and then I did my makeup as natural yet beautiful as possible. Then I headed out after I finished.

In my surprise when I came out the room, Mark was there. He was probably visiting to hang out with Johnny.

Mark's P.O.V.

I didn't know why, but I had this urge to go to Johnny's place in hopes of him being there so we can watch movies.

Once I got in their house it was just Ashley and unfortunately Johnny went to work. I was gonna leave but then Ashley offered me some pancakes. I couldn't say no because I forgot to eat breakfast and I was starving.

I can't help but to think where
y/n is. I mean I haven't seen her yet and I have been trying to get her off my mind lately since I thought to myself that I may not have a chance to be with her.

But then I heard footsteps which I ignored at first because I thought it was Ashley.

"Hey Mark, I didn't know you stopped by."

It was y/n. And she was stunning as ever.

Is she trying to make this hard for me? I mean, the way she looked, her scent and the way she talks to me, it's making me fall for her more.

"Hey, y/n. I was just hoping that Johnny would watch a movie with me"

"Ahh, I see. Johnny's at work you know"

She said that last part with a little laugh as she took orange juice from the refrigerator and she started to look like she was looking for something.

"Y/n you okay?"

"Yeahh I just forgot where I placed my phone.. Have you seen it anywhere?"

I finished my pancake so I can look around to help her.

"Uhh.. Mark can I borrow your phone?"

"Why what for?"

"Maybe you can call me so my phone can ring"

So I took out my phone then I gave to her then she typed her number. We waited for her phone to ring and it did.
Surprisingly her ringtone was "Slow Dancing In A Burning Room" by John Mayer, and actually, I was a fan of John Mayer myself.

"Oh there it is! I must have left it here awhile ago after eating. Thank you Mark"

She handed me my phone and I just HAD to ask her about what music she likes since I think that music really connects people.

"Y/n, you listen to John Mayer?"

"Of coarse like duude he is a legend"

I got the answer I hoped for.
"Yeah, your ringtone caught my attention"

"Oh really? Its a pretty old song and no one really recognizes it. But its my favourite song of his."

"I'm actually glad that finally someone appreciates my music taste" she added.

During the whole time y/n and I exchanged stuff about things we never knew we had alike.

This made me believe that I actually had a chance to be with her.

"Holy shooks Mark its 11:30, I totally forgot the time. I'm sorry I have to go."
Y/n said out of a sudden with a little panic as if she was going somewhere really important.

"Where are you going?"

"Well, you're not gonna believe it but.. Jaemin asked me out."

And that one statement made me froze out of nowhere but I had to act like I was happy for her because I don't want her to think weirdly of me.

"Well.. You have to go then.. I'll make my way out later on."

For one moment I thought that I had a chance with her.

"Okay thanks for the fun talk I really appreciated it but I gotta go, Jaemin's probably waiting"

Well.. That was a plot twist.
