Chapter 12 The narcissists, The bipolar and The alcoholic

Side note: By the way I did draw the new cover art myself if you were wondering. If there's any anime fans reading you may see that Sebastian, above Hannah, looks like Sebastian from Black Butler this is intentional. All so anyone that noticed Edward looks like Edward Elric also intentional. Though the design was based on him not much personality was carried over. For bonus points the uniform on the bodyguards is typical in Fullmetal alchemist again intentional. The guard on Hannah's left is Ross and the blond one is Irwin just so you know and on Gary's right is Johans. For extra points yes, Irwin's hair was based of Havoc's from Fullmetal alchemist. Not a real point but worth mentioning the bodyguard to Gary's left is Hemley she looks like and reminds me of Hawkeye from Fullmetal Alchemist. So the only original designs are: Hannah, Johans, part of Irwin, Ross and Hemley.

His breathing grew heavy. She pulled the rope. He didn't flinch or move. Did he not see it was dark. Where were Ross and Irwin. His face was hidden by the dark however the shape of his face wasn't recognisable. Behind him the corridor light turned on. Click. That sound it was the sound of safety being pulled off a gun. Two guns. The man was Peter. He spun round. The two guns were Ross and Irwin. "Your highness don't move we will handle it" Irwin said. Peter backed in to Hannah's bedroom. "So noble our brave troops serving behind warm walls to protect one little brat. While your comrades die in the cold." Peter's voice was more recognisable in the light.

"Your highness get behind us" Ross yelled. Hannah leapt out the bed but Peter caught her night gown. The inpracticality of dresses in action. Peter held a knife to her throat. "Now put the guns down"

Ross and Irwin stared at him.

"You wouldn't want anything to happen to the one you swore your lives to protect"

Hannah bit his thumb and ran behind Ross. He screamed in pain. Edward came in half asleep. "Your highness it's three in the morning can't this wait until tomorrow" He yawned then opened his eyes. He saw Irwin and Ross with guns and his boss' daughter behind them. Then he saw Peter and his face lit up. He walked over "Edward careful he has a knife!" Ross yelled. Edward kept smiling. "Wait until his majesty hears about you Peter trying to murder his pride and joy"

Ross put an arm round Hannah normally she would have rejected it but she was cold and scared so she put her head against Ross. She was warm. Her uniform smelled nice too. Gary walked in. He yawned still half asleep."Guys what are you doing up so early have you ever heard of sleep? What are you doing acting out Macbeth or something?" Gary opened his eyes. The scene must have been quite a shock. Gary slipped behind Ross grabbed Hannah's hand and pulled her towards the door. "You red bloods finish up in here. I'll take Hannah to a safer place" Gary smirked and shut the door. Ross nodded then realised she had been called a commener.

Gary took Hannah to his room. Sheets sprawled across his bed. "What do you want to do? We could play video games, watch anime or go back to sleep." Gary asked.

"How could I go back to bed they're practically using my room as a shooting range?"

Gary organised the sheets and nodded his head."Then where Will you sleep?" Hannah asked.

Gary smiled."Don't worry about me. I've been up for the past hour playing video games and if you need you have it your more important"

"Thanks Gary but I'm not more important than you" Once Hannah lay on the bed. Gary lay each layer of duvet on Hannah. He kissed her forehead. "There's going to be a little bit of light coming from the 3ds is that ok?"

"Yeah it's fine"

Gary smiled he switched off the main light. Gary's bed was warm from previous body heat. Then she realised he haden't been playing video games for the last hour. Otherwise the bed wouldn't have the body heat.
