Chapter 3 The palace

"Sir please get back here!"

Hannah's breathing grew heavier with every step but she kept running ignoring the bodyguards shouting at her. She went out into the garden. There wasn't much cover the bushes were trimmed low and the statues could easily be exposed. She climbed a nearby tree. The bodyguards ran into the garden. "Sir?"They pressed on further in to the garden.

"What are you doing up hear?"

Hannah spun round in alarm only to find Gary eating an apple in the tree.

"Running away from bodyguards you?"Hannah whispered

"Same then I thought I could catch some burmys in this tree"

"How long have you been up hear?"

"Hour"

"Any luck with pokemon catching?"

Gary shook his head. "No offense but those bodyguards take it to a whole new level"

"I get that my dad is royalty and all that but still we've both crossed all of Sinnoh the most difficult terrain in any region."

Gary sighed. "Even Gramps didn't give me this much protection and girls would touch me left, right and center when ever I went out the house just because they knew professor Oak was my grandfather"

Hannah stared at him.

"Don't worry they had nothing on you Hannah just a load of creepy fans of Gramps"He shuddered.

"Cold?"

"No I'm fine"

"SIR?!?"Both of Hannah's bodyguards shouted in unison.

Gary jumped. The bodyguards stared in to their tree. "Your royal highness' there you both are"They seemed more happy than either of them had anticipated.

The chase was up Gary climbed out first then Hannah. When they got back in to the palace Sycamore was sitting at the head of the table with a phony grin plastered to his face."Take a seat"Sycamore said noticeably quieter than usual. Hannah and Gary took opposite chairs and sat down. The dining room was grand. 3 chandeliers hung from the ceiling the whole palace followed the same golden pattern on the walls. Servants stood against the walls. Two butler's and two maids stood by Sycamore at the top of the table. The uniform was slightly different to the regular butler and maid uniform. They all had a small silver badge though. "Hannah, Gary this is Edward and Sebastian"Sycamore said trying to keep his tone calm and relaxed when he was ready to scream his lungs you could see it in his face. The constant twitch in the corners of his mouth and eyes, it was small but detectable if you look closely enough. He pointed to the two butler's beside him.

Edward was blond with green eyes he was unusually tanned for a butler that was meant to work inside. He looked very young at least 17. He was tall however. He looked like they just dragged him out of school and stuck a suit on him. His suit was the same as Sebastian a navy blue tie and black tail coat. Sebastian didn't look much older but his hair was jet black and his eyes were red. He looked like he was raised for the in a very formal environment. Sebastian was only about 2 centimeters taller. They both had a small silver badge pinned on to the left side of their tail coat. They both smiled at Gary and Hannah.

"And these lovely ladies are Angeline and Ilene"Sycamore said still trying to contain himself. His anger was slowly consuming him. Angeline had light brown hair and hazel eyes. She was quite tanned too. Sinnoh was mountainous region so having a tan was next to impossible. She looked as young as Edward. She wore the maids uniform but this one was different. The bonnet had navy blue ribbons threaded through the cap and the dress had a lace collar of which she had pinned her silver badge on the left just as the others had. Ilene was blond with brown eyes. She was the oldest looking out of the bunch. She looked like a normal girl to be honest.
