Chapter 13 Critical

When word got out that Peter had been fired. Current servants were lining up out the door for his position. Sycamore, Hannah and Gary were receiving extra royal treatment. Professor Oak wasn't fully convinced that Gary was behaving so was staying with them for the time being. This annoyed Gary greatly. "Gary get your elbows off the table" Oak said.

Table manners was one of Gary's few weak spots. He wasn't bad at it he just couldn't be bothered to do it. Gary removed his elbows. Tonight was seafood for all. Hannah and Gary had tried to request something different but Sycamore and Oak had prevented both of them. Hannah was currently was eating a bread roll. While Gary pecked at a salad. His fork acted suicidal. Despite always eating ice cream Gary did have some muscles, not the sea food, he wasn't completely ripped but he did have something. But Hannah loved him for his personality so that was a bonus. There was no talk only adult satisfaction of eating what they wanted.

That night Gary and Hannah watched a movie. They had eaten two tubs when the first quarter was over. Oak poked his head in. "Gary?"

"What Gramps can't you see I'm trying to watch a movie here?"

Oak wasn't used to Gary's attitude. "Gary Shigeru Oak get out here now"

Gary sighed. "Pause it"

Sebastian paused it.

Gary stepped outside.

"What Gramps?"

"I don't like your attitude"

"You don't like a lot of things about me"

"Ok smart arse just because your treated like a prince doesn't change the fact that I'm your grandfather"

"Your right but it doesn't change the fact that I'm not going back to Kanto and I'm going to be a pokemon trainer. Leave the researcher crap to Daisy or that ass kisser Tracy. I'm staying here in Kalos"

"Your the champion you little brat people are lining up out if the indigo league for you"

"I've battle them virtually. Your such a dinosaur Gramps"

"What?"

"You think I would just leave the responsibility of champion undone give me some credit"

Oak smiled at his grandson. "You're such a little prick"

"Geesh thanks" Gary went back to the movie.

That night the three gathered on route seven. "Hello master"

"Hello Peter"

"Are we going to put our plan into action"

"Yes the information you and Rosemarie gave me yesterday is the vital push. Within a week our dream will come true"

"So your saying you found it that's incredible!" Sycamore yelled.

"With this found you'll win over the entire region" Archie yelled back.

"We will need about 3 weeks to polish it all off" Maxie said in a much more calmer tone. The dining room didn't echo Maxie's reply. But it still echoed Archie's. Gary and Hannah entered the two scowled at the fact there was no breakfast. "Kids isn't it great?"

"Why is there no breakfast?" Gary asked.

"Not that"

"Oh good I thought you were going anorexic" Gary answered back. Hannah was still half asleep and was barely listening to half the conversation.

"Archie and Maxie have found a ancient weapon used in the war 3,000 years ago"

The kids were very disinterested.

Sycamore sighed. "I'll win a load of supporters for this"

Hannah woke up slightly. "Lets celebrate with breakfast oh wait there isn't any"

Ice cream and pancakes were eaten in the living room. Sycamore went to his office he planned out some ways to win back supporters. Hannah wiped up melted ice cream with a pancake. Oak went home that day he was happy that Gary was in safe hands.

The polishing only took two weeks. It was in Geosenge town. One route ten there were large stones. Each one was placed next to another making the limousine twist and turn to get through. When they got there the three stones were arranged in a triangle in the middle of the town. Archie and Maxie led them to their base. It was underground. They had built a whole lab underground it was eerie and cold. It was momentous and had a sort of floral look to it. "So are you ready to display your find to the public Sycamore?" Maxie asked.

"Absolutely"

The ground shook beneath them. An earthquake no it was man made. The weapon rose "What the fucks happening Maxie?"

"Oh didn't we mention your majesty just like you we have a dream just like you"

Sycamore stared at them Johans, Hemley, Irwin and Ross all pulled out their guns. "I'd put them away kids" Archie shouted over the tremor. "Why should we your under arrest for high treason?"

"Oh you see there's not just the two of us"

Lysandre emerged from the left. "Sycamore my friend I always knew you were naive but never to the point that your region would be destroyed because of it"

Sycamore gritted his teeth. "You bastard!"

"Oh but we all secretly hated you"

"We?"

"Wow your really are naive Sycamore"

Lysandre snapped his fingers. Peter and Rosemarie emerged from the right. "You were always so foolish Augustine you could never live up to your father's name" Lysandre shouted. The weapon was fully above the ground. "Now I'll do what you never could. Do this region some good. I'll wipe it clean and start it again with me as the ruler. I'll obliterate all of Kalos"

"Your insane Lysandre"

This was real. It really happened before Hannah's eyes a weapon of mass destruction emerged. Then just like that a light a bright light. It felt so warm and so cold at the same time. Hannah saw a figure. Not a person's but a pokemon's. The light lasted around a minute. Then it struck Hannah. A repeat of what happened 3,000 years ago. From her ancestors reign.

Yes I'm annoying this is the end of the book but there will be a sequel called 'The lightning in their eyes' I just need to gather my thoughts and see how the scenario can play out. But the sequel will be much better and much more exciting. I hope to flesh out the characters properly. Until then wait for the sequel
