Your alarm had gone off for the nth time and you dismissed it yet again with a groan.
Maybe you and Seungyoun got caught in the rain on the way home from your movie date and maybe you woke up feeling horrible.
"It's just a little rain." He said. "As long as you dry up when you get home, you'll be fine." He said.
It was a lie.
A big lie.
You were cold, you had a headache, your body felt weak and your nose was runny. How were you supposed to go to school?
"Aren't you going to sch- Whoa, why do you look dead?" Your roommate, Sana, asked as she walked in.
"Sick." You groaned, rolling over and curling into yourself for warmth.
"There's cold medicine still in the cabinet from last time." She sighed. "Should I get it for you?"
"I'll get it later." You spoke out, followed by a cough. "I just want sleep."
"I'll bring something back. Soup?" She asked and you made some random noise of approval. "Hope you get better." She smiled before slowly closing the door.
"Wait-" You called out before coughing.
"Yeah?" She poked her head back in.
"Don't tell Seungyoun. He has too much to do today, if he finds out, he'll bail for sure."
"You're dying and you-" She stopped. "Never mind, I won't say anything. Just try and feel better?" She smiled.
"Mhm." You mumbled before getting back under the blanket.
Just as you bundled yourself back up to where you were comfortable, your phone went off, Seungyoun's ringtone playing from your nightstand. You let out another groan as your hand crept under the blanket to blindly reach for the device and dropping it in the process, another groan leaving you as you realized you didn't have a choice now.
Snaking your way to the edge of the bed, you peeped your head out to see your phone screen going off as the ringtone ended. You sighed and closed your eyes but it was short lived as it went off again.
"I love you but if you call me one more time, I'm going to kill you." You groaned to yourself as you reached for your phone and muted it, not bothering to get back up and letting yourself fall back asleep in your current position.

One thing you hated about being sick was that it made you a light sleeper. The smallest noise would wake you up. Like right now, with your phone vibrating against the tile on your floor from a random notification.
"I thought I muted you." You whined, your fingers wrapping around the device and lifting it so you could see it better, Seungyoun's messages being the first thing you see.
"Are you up yet?" - 8:54 am
"You didn't answer my good morning calls :(" - 8:55 am
"Are you in class? Is that why you aren't answering?" - 10:00 am
"No, wait. I called before your class started." - 10:02 am
"I'm about to do a photo shoot right now. I'll text you when I'm done." - 10:04 am
"Are you okay? Sana said you slept in." - 11:00 am
"It's not like you to not answer for this long." - 11:02 am
"Babe, seriously. I'm getting worried." - 11:04 am
"Please text me when you can?" - 11:05 am
